Curtis Samuel value?

I would value him with a 2nd in 2020 as well. He is an intriguing player but I don't think he will ever get enough touches to be a super helpful player fantasy wise.

Agreed. I had the 2.01 from a previous trade as well. So I took a Samuel (Deebo) to replace one.

I think a 2020 second is fair if early and if you are not high on him I'd be happy to get that. I think that is his value right now.

Believe it or not I paid two seconds for him recently. A 2020 and 2021. Hopefully neither too early, though one never knows. Granted I realise it's an overpay but I have been trying to buy him all off-season as I think there is potential for a third year breakout and he could cost a lot more next year. It could be a case of magic beans however. He is someone I am very high on and if you have those guys sometimes you have to pay up. Of course this time next year I could be sitting here with egg on my face.

2nd is current market price, but I personally think he ascends to late 1st during the season.

Unless you need to make roster space, i'd rather keep him and let him play the year, then trade him based on that value during the off season.

Moore went in the first round of the draft as the first WR off the board; Samuel went in the 2nd and was the 5th WR taken. Moore had a much, much, much better rookie campaign. He had 920 yards from scrimmage last season, whereas Samuel has 757 in two seasons. Moore was 4th in the NFL (and 1st among WRs) in YAC per reception...Samuel was outside the top 100.

DJ Moore was 97th percentile in college dominator and 98th in breakout age. Samuel was 48th and 62nd. Moore's 94th in burst score, 74th in agility score and 89th in catch radius versus 58th, 27th and 52nd for Samuel. The one thing Samuel really has over Moore is 40 time.

All the owners that have him in my leagues won't sell him for less than a 1st. Seems that those who have him are believers at this point.
