Price check: Lions

Hello friends,

Another owner in my league has asked about my first round picks this year (I have 3, 5, and 6). His two best players are Kerryon and Golladay, and he said that his 2020 first is off the table (since he finished dead last this year and owns pick 1 already).

My team (not the one in the sig) got crushed by a couple of unfortunate trades last year and finished in the dreaded 6th place out of 12. The league is PPR, 1QB, starting multiple non-QB flex positions. I'm wondering if either Kerryon or Golladay are worth investing in on this team, and what you would pay to get either of them. My gut tells me that this team is closer to the bottom than the top, but there are some really bad teams at the bottom and Zeke alone probably beats a few of them.

My main roster is as follows:
Q: Dalton, Fitz, Rosen
R: Zeke, Cohen, JWilliams,
W: Keenan, Woods, JWash, Kirk, Foster, MLee, Treadwell
T: Brate, Vannett
Picks: 1.03, 1.05, 1.06, 4.06, two 2020 1s (both should be in the top half)

I like both players. Kerryon might make more sense for your build long term. I would look to move Green for Kerryon ++ if the other owner is interested.

If you can get Golladay for 1.03 straight up, I'd do that. Personally I think Kerryon is overvalued and wouldn't pay more than the 1.05. You can try that as well, but most Kerryon owners aren't selling for that.

Unfortunately my top team in the sig doesn’t have that many picks, or needs. Also, the more I look at it, the more I feel lucky to be in sixth place. Then again, some teams were starting inactive guys because they had nothing else to do. *shrug*

I’d send either or both of the 1.05/1.06 for either or both Lions. I would be wanting to keep that 1.03.
