Differnce between Fuller / Corey Davis

Postby Martpe » Thu May 30, 2019 1:08 am

I have a guy who is asking for Fuller and is willing to let CD go in the deal. Currently he is asking for a 2020 2nd on top. Somehow it feels like an accept - but I am not a CD fan (realize I can flip him). Should I take the deal and buy a guy (CD) who I am really not crazy about.

Need the forum support here :D

Fuller and Davis feel pretty close in value to me, although I do have Davis ranked higher. Adding a second to Fuller is probably fair value. I don't think you are getting that much of a steal. I'd lean the Davis side here, and would take the deal, but that's probably because I'm higher on Davis than you are. I wouldn't expect to be able to move him for a whole lot more than that. His value is not that high after the disastrous season last year. I expect it to go back up this season though.

Unless you are sure you can flip him, I wouldn't do that trade. Corey Davis will be #2 on his squad after TEN drafted AJ Brown. I just don't trust his talent, and his value has done nothing but decreased since he was drafted. Mariotta isn't an NFL QB...I'd keep Fuller.

Fuller is the better option due to situation. Mariota is awful and just cant get Davis the ball. I still have high hopes for Davis but Fuller has put up better stats when on the field. Health is a huge concern for Fuller on the other side. Tough call here, they are both very close in value. It's all about preference. I could see a 2nd added to either side.

I prefer Fuller >= Davis, so if you're not a Davis fan, I'd be 100% sure you can flip him for more before accepting this. You don't want to overpay and get stuck with a player you don't want.

Fuller actually produces when he's on the field and is in a pass friendly offense. CD is all potential but no punch.

If the injury potential annoys you with Fuller then I guess get rid of him, but when healthy, Fuller is a much much better fantasy asset than CD.

Straight up is fair, but I wouldn't trade Fuller for CD if it was me. Or I'd at least already line up another trade to flip CD right away.

It depends if you want the more talented receiver (long term) who will play 15 to 16 games or the guy in the better offense with the better QB who MIGHT give you 7 to 8 games.
