So I was stuck with tyreek on my team when it came out he was a piece of bleep. However my team is still top 2 of our league without him (I have OBJ and Mike Evans) so I planned on holding him until he got another chance in the NFL considering his game breaking talent.
I was just offered Devonta Freeman and Sterling Shepard for Hill. I’ve been trying to fill my RB3 spot but don’t love either of those players. I countered with Tyreek, Njoku, and Coleman for Joe Mixon
Anyone think that’s a bad counter? Over offer? Could I offer more (ARob instead of coleman)? Should I take the first offer and run?

Freeman and Shepard is a really nice return for Hill where he sits right now. You will need to add a lot more to your counter to get Mixon. Hill's status is way too up in the air for someone to move Mixon if Hill is the main piece.

I like getting Shepherd and Freeman for Hill as things stand now...this would be more of a hedging your bet kind of move and guaranteeing you atleast get some value for him. If you could counter with Tyreek, Njoku and ARob for Mixon, I would be thrilled with being on the Mixon side of that deal.

Yeah you should have taken Freeman and Shepard. Even if you don't love them, others probably would've given something for them to make it worth it. Especially Freeman if it's like my league where any starting decent RB is worth 2 firsts otherwise your offers get laughed at. (though no starting RB has ever been traded so far in 1 year or playing as guys realize that 2 1sts for a Henry or Howard is absurd, so hopefully valuations will come down soon)

Take the original deal, your counter is a pretty bad offer. You're asking for a top 5-8 RB for a WR that may never play again, a TE that to date is all hype, and an RB in a big committee.
