Yeah I might give a mid to late 1st but if I can get that to move from Mahomes to Baker, I probably do that instantly

Mahomes is #1 in my rankings and Mayfield is #2. So anything you can get on top of Baker would be good with me. You should be able to get some kind of a first added on.

I don't play SF so take this for what its worth. But how can we possibly expect another 2018 out of Mahomes?? Historically, nearly every QB1 has regressed the following year. And he has likely lost his top downfield weapon in Hill. And Mayfield now has OBJ. No way I'm adding a 1st to Mayfield.

The SF part is where it goes to a 1st. In a 1 QB league, I doubt the difference is more than a 2nd

I love me some Mahomes. I have Mayfield (was lucky enough to get Chubb and Mayfield out of the .06 spot). He is very good. Arrogant yes. Mahomes is mild manner. Someone is going to want to kill Mayfield. I expect more injuries. But Mayfields cast of weapons is very very nice. No Kelce at the TE but otherwise very nice. Both young. Based on who has done IT. Mahomes. So yes a mid 1st. I wouldnt trade em for a late 1st if I had Mahomes.

Historically QBs don't throw for 5000 yards and 50 TDs in their first season as a starter. I feel very safe penciling Mahomes in for 5000 yards and 40 TDs every year for the foreseeable future. I love Baker. I wouldn't take Baker and an early 1st for Mahomes though. I think Baker is going to be very very good. I just don't think he's ever going to be on Mahomes' Uber Elite level consistently.

You realize throwing for 5k yards has happened exactly 11 times (and Brees has 5 of those) in the history of the NFL right? I love Mahomes and am an owner but in no way would I feel safe penciling him in for 5k ever year when it's only happened a handful of times.

I'm personally not adding anything more than a 2nd to Baker to get Mahomes. I'm perfectly happy starting Baker and seeing what solid prospect I can get in 2020.
If I'm a Mahomes owner- this is exactly what I'm trying to do this off-season.
