This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

A mid to late 2020 for DK and 2.03? I would offer it but doubt it has any chance of being accepted.

So half of you are for and half against the offer?

It's not my own 2020 1st I would be offering. Someone else's.

I know the 2020 class is supposed to be good. Just seems like if I can get DK and Hollywood that one of them should return a 1st next year.

Hmm. Now that I have typed that out I'm not so sure...

DK went at 1.04 in my ppr draft and 1.05 in my SF. It seems you are offering a later 1st a year out and asking for an early 2nd on top. Even if you think next year’s class is much better it seems like a lot to me for a 1st that may be late.

I'd keep what you have. I'm not a Metcalf believer at all, and think you'll be able to get at least and equal, if not better talent mid to late next year

One of the things I dont think people consider is landing spots. Was I in love or even considered Miles Sanders a high first round pick prior to the draft. No, very few if any did. Yet now he is in Philly and is a dynasty darling and going 1.3.

Three years ago I did a poll asking who were the two teams you think would invest a 1st to 3rd round pick on a RB. There were some obvious teams to choose, Philly, Indy, KC, dominated the voting. None of them took one.

Look at it another way, lets say it's Gurley's draft year and he goes to the God awful Rams coming off a serious ACL and Miles Sanders is sitting there as Philly's new starter?

These guys coming out next year are top 15 draft worthy. That means they will be going to some pretty crappy teams.

Let's look at Metcalf in this years draft. When I think about it, Seattle is a perfect spot for him. His speed/size will give him plenty of cushion for tons of those quick flares and let him take on CB's 1 on 1 for easy 5-7 yard gains, whenever Seattle needs them.

Like the Rams, Seattle will use a ton of play action, keeping safetys closer to the line and opening up the secondary for his work class speed to be exploited.

I was not a fan of Metcalf pre draft, but his landing position is outstanding for him and he has the physical tools to be a WR1. The only thing I worry about with him is his health. If that holds, I can easily see him being a WR 1 for the next 5-7 years.

No way no how.

I would not trade a "prized" pick for someone as risky as Metcalf. If he busts, you lose all value. Of course, picks always have risk. But even if you don't like the pick, you can easily trade it away right before the draft. 2020 firsts are gonna be worth a butt load come draft time. It all depends on how you see Metcalf though. I don't like him at all

Hmm. I'm torn. I'm still leaning toward Metcalf and Marquis Brown/Paris Campbell for a late 2020 1st.

I can see how if you are low in both those players it would be an easy pass. I'm seeing it as 2 mid firsts for one late, even in a stacked class

I might say wait for the 2.03 to be on the clock to be sure you’re getting the player you want there
