Drake for a 2020 first?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I'd probably take the 1st unless I needed an RB to win this year. I think Drake gets a real shot this year and it wouldn't surprise me to see his value shoot up during the season.

I say he is , Who else is even close to his talent there , Ballage sure as hell isn't he is more of a change of pace back.

Drake is a big RB about 6'2 , 215lbs , Its not like he is a little guy he is about the same size as MGordon.
fair point, but still you don't get defenses game planning against you specifically.

pardon me if i don't get your word for it... he has a chance to be a bellcow. and there's a good chance he won't be.

size is one thing. the way they play is another.

idk he showed he can handle the workload at the end of 2017 when he took over the coach played him he was a top 8 RB. So I do think he can be a 3 down back if he has a coach that will use him the right way..

I'm not saying he will get 320 carries and 100 targets like a Bell , But 225 carries and 75 targets is very doable.

Are you really putting Drake on par with Barkley and Gurley with something as silly as "points per touch"?

Off the top of my head, some RBs that you might be able to get by offering a 2020 1st that I'd much prefer over Drake:

Kerryon Johnson, Aaron Jones, Devonta Freeman, Phillip Lindsay, Derrick Henry, Damien Williams
Kittles Pox | Championships: 2015, 2017
12-Team PPR | QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, W/R/T, K, DST
QB: Kyler Murray, Aaron Rodgers
RB: Christian McCaffrey, Melvin Gordon, James Conner, Phillip Lindsay, Tevin Coleman, Boston Scott, Benny Snell Jr.
WR: Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans, Cooper Kupp, Michael Gallup, Christian Kirk
TE: George Kittle, Travis Kelce | K: Younghoe Koo | DST: SF
PS: Mecole Hardman, Tony Pollard | 2020 Picks: 1.09, 2.10, 3.03 | 2021 Picks: 1st, 2nd

This very much depends on the pick, though. Not many people are giving up Kerryon Johnson for a 2020 1st unless the team it's coming from is a total dumpster fire. OP has a good team and this is a 14 team league, so his 1st isn't going to be valued as highly.

No I said he won't get their amount of touches but in a short span when he got the chance to start he put up RB1 numbers , He has no real competition for touches now Ballage stinks all he will do is give drake breathers.. Drake will get around 225 carries 1000 rushing yards , 60 catches 500 receiving yards if he stays healthy

I've seen all of these RBs traded in various leagues for what I projected to be a late 2020 1st. Kerryon and Jones not as much, but I think it's worth asking and not an insulting starter offer.

I guess it's fair to try to seize on the 2020 fervor, but I would scoff at an offer of OP's 2020 1st for KJ, Jones or Henry.
