Simple as that, is Metcalf worth a 2020 1st from a team likely to be in the playoffs next season (so anywhere from 1.07 to 1.12)?
Note: I have three 2020 1sts currently, so losing one wouldn't be the end of the world.

I'm not sure you need him with your build, so I guess it comes down to if you like him more than a potential late 1st guy next year. I would hold the 1st but I'm not a big Metcalf believer.

Re: Is Metcalf worth a 2020 1st (1.07-1.12 range)
It's probably fair value, but I'd keep the pick. He's basically worth a mid/late 1st right now in 2019 drafts, so not sure I'd pay the same price in 2020 with the hype that class has. Also, if I'm competing, I'd target a different WR and not go after a rookie to try and help my team now.
Re: Is Metcalf worth a 2020 1st (1.07-1.12 range)
John Clayton recently said that DK's minicamp performance was easily the best they've seen in Seattle since Russell Wilson's.
I believe you are just fine giving up a late 2020 1st for him. We like next year's expected class, but a lot can also change between now and then. It does every year. DK has a great opportunity to see the field, he plays with one of the best QBs in the league, and he plays on a team that tends to get the very best out of their rookies. The fact that you'll still have multiple firsts next year makes this a trade I would do.

I’m not the biggest Metcalf supporter, but I do like him and I think he has a strong chance to at least be a boom-bust upside-WR2 in 2-3 years. 65-1100-8, something like that.
If you’re gonna trade a 2020 pick tho, I would go after a RB. Aaron Jones, Marlon Mack, Ingram++, D. Freeman+, etc

Re: Is Metcalf worth a 2020 1st (1.07-1.12 range)
For what it's worth, I was on the clock with Metcalf BPA. Traded the pick for 2020 1st. Guy took Metcalf.
Re: Is Metcalf worth a 2020 1st (1.07-1.12 range)
Anyone drafting Metcalf clearly loves the upside - who doesn't
If someone offered me a mid late 2020 1st for metcalf i would be insulted.
In two leagues he has gone inside the top 5. Yes he has bust risk, but the boom is at a entire new level.

Re: Is Metcalf worth a 2020 1st (1.07-1.12 range)
Was offered the pick for Metcalf or a mid/late 2020 1st and I opted for the 2020 1st. I consider them equal risk/reward and just don’t believe in DK. Could provide immediate rewards though. Fair value to me.
