DJ Moore + ? = David Johnson or Connor or Bell

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

DJ Moore + ? = David Johnson or Connor or Bell

Postby DynastyDabbler » Fri May 17, 2019 8:40 am

League mate reached out asking what I wanted for DJ Moore. I told him I wanted David Johnson, Connor, or Bell. He obviously wants someone added to the deal but I'm not sure who to package with DJ Moore. He's looking over my roster to make a counter but in the mean time I figured I would get your input. Who would you pair with Moore to get D. Johnson or Bell or Connor?

My receivers and RBs listed below

RB: Dalvin Cook, Miles Sanders, Rashaad Penny, Duke Johnson, Myles Gaskin, Justin Jackson, C.J. Anderson, Chris Thompson, Rod Smith, Chris Warren III

WR: Corey Davis, D.J. Moore, Kenny Golladay, Robert Woods, John Ross, Terry McLaurin, Taylor Gabriel, Tyrell Williams, Jamison Crowder, Quincy Enunwa, Marquise Goodwin, Devante Parker, Chris Hogan, Justin Watson, Dylan Cantrell
10 team half-ppr 1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 2FLX 3IDP
QB: J. Burrow, J. Goff
RB: J. Mixon, K. Walker, T. Etienne, A. Ekeler, Z. Charbonet, K. Miller, T. Bigsby, J. Warren,
WR: J. Chase, D.J. Moore, D.K. Metcalf, D. Smith, J. Smith-Njigba, P. Nacua, J. Meyers, T. Palmer,
TE: T. Kelce, T. McBride, C. Okonkwo

I'd offer Moore + Penny + 2nd for one of those RBs.

With your roster, you should not be selling young, potential-stud WRs for older RBs.

Realistically, it probably should take someone like Sanders and Moore. But I do agree that your team isn't set to go after one stud while giving up multiple young pieces.

Appreciate the feedback folks! I like my young team. Excited to see how the season plays out. But I'm struggling with being patient and not making any trades.

Still would hold. RB's that aren't uber-studs come and go pretty quickly. I'd only look to acquire those types of players when you're 1 missing piece from a championship, not when you're rebuilding.
