If it was a straight choice between Ebron and Fant, who would you prefer?

I own Ebron and might be able to trade for Fant, however my depth is Doyle and ASJ so not good especially as a contender. But overall, even just looking at the two players on their own, who is the better dynasty pick?

Fant is a complete unknown, no way I could take him over Ebron

x2 - I don't even like Ebron but he can play and stick in the league. Fant looks like he could be solid, but no one knows.

Well first off.. if you are planning on contending this year I think you have to go Ebron (unless there are free agents on the waiver or trade opportunities), though I think he's due for some serious regression.

If you're not competing I think its perfectly fine to trade ebron for Fant. Think about it more like trading Ebron for the draft pick that got Fant.

Fant has more upside and value in dynasty, but if I'm competing, I'd rather have Ebron.

id take fant very easily. doyle will be the main TE in indy and you own him, this is a good way to cash out on ebron imo

Ebron, especially for a contender.
