Championship Push Advice

Postby jodscott213 » Mon May 13, 2019 10:01 am

Current team:
Qb: Jimmy G, Wentz and Ben
RB: Barkley, Mixon, Fournette and Ekeler, Damien Williams
WR: Adams, Theilen, DJ Moore, C. Samuel, Kirk, Pettis
TE: Kittle, Henry

We havent had our rookie draft but i currently own 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 and 2.01

I don't have any current offers for any of my picks even though i stated they are on the block, if i dont trade them i am taking jacobs and harry and 1 and 2. But can't decide between DK or a rb at 3. and then at 2.01 leaning toward Debo, Paris if they are there or Henderson i know he wont start but if something goes wrong with gurley he could be dynasty gold,

Opinions? and if i dont trade what would u ask for, for any of the picks?

I like Jacobs and Harry with the 1.01 and 1.02 and would probably make those picks if you don't get a serious overpay. Those 2 players will likely help you for a few years to come also. I would actively shop the 1.03 if you see a couple solid options that could be on the block in your league. If you could land Parris with the 2.01, that might be a very nice pick.

I’d take Jacobs, Sanders and Harry with the top 3 picks. Then take BPA WR at 2.01.

I'd consider packaging some of those picks for another stud WR (Hopkins / OBJ / Thomas) to really put your team over the top.

Otherwise, I agree that picks 1 & 2 should be Jacobs & Harry. I'd really consider trading back from 1.03, even if it only nets you a 2nd round pick to fall back into the 1.06 - 1.09 range. I'd personally target M. Brown, but it's all personal preference in that range.

I'd look for an RB needy team wiling to trade a stud WR (OBJ? Thomas?) for LF/1.01 and then use 1.02 and 1.03 on Sanders and another RB, maybe Montgomery. Or see if LF/1.02/1.03 works and take Jacobs.

This. Don't overthink it.
Montgomery is my RB2. Jacobs/Harry 1/2 but after that I don't think it's so clear cut. Trading back could be a good option since you don't really need Montgomery or Sanders.

I agree with this. Adding a stud WR to your lineup would be ideal.

I'd shop the 1.01 and/or Damian Williams/Fournette to teams that need immediate help at RB, and see if you can't get a solid overpay, assuming your league is 2 RB 3WR 1FLEX.

With Barkley, Mixon, and then Fournette/Williams you should be pretty set at RB/Flex and likely aren't playing Jacobs over those guys anyway. You could still get Harry + RB/DK at 1.02 and 1.03 which will give you a great your talent influx and you could acquire a nice piece(s) with 1.01/DW/LF. Go BPA at 2.01 and then target Armstead in FA to handcuff Fournette.

With how young your top two RBs already are, I'd try to snag an additional 1st rounder for 2020 which should be loaded with RB talent.
Team 1 - 10 Team PPR - 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, 2FLEX

QBs: Wentz, Big Ben, Darnold, Murray, Bridgewater
RBs: Chubb, Mack, L. Miller, Monty, Foreman, Henderson, Ballage, Armstead, R. Anderson
WRs: OBJ, K. Allen, Cooks, ARob, Z. Jones, Chark, K. White, D. Robinson, McLaurin
TE: Howard, Njoku, Reed

Picks:
2020: 1-4
2021: 1-4
2022: 1-4

Team 2 - 10 Team PPR SF - QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2FLEX, 1SF

QBs: Mayfield, Watson, Jimmy GQ, Grier
RBs: Barkley, Sony, Lewis, D. Thompson, Love
WRs: Thomas, OBJ, AB, Kupp, ARob, C. Ridley, Alshon, MVS, Chark, Gordon, McLaurin, Quinn
TE: Burton, Walker

Picks:
2020: 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3
2021: 1, 3
2022: 1-3

Team 3 - 10 Team PPR - QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 3FLEX

QBs: Watson, Wilson, Mayfield, Murray, Grier
RBs: Ballage, Henderson, Hunt, Hill, Armstead, Anderson, Williams, Thompson, Crockett
WRs: Nuk, Evans, Cooper, Cooks, Samuel, Butler, Chark, Quinn, Robinson, D. Johnson, Morgan Jr.
TEs: Fant, Dissly, Goedert

Picks:
2020: 1-4
2021: 1-4
2022: 1-4

I would look to upgrade at WR. If you can package one or two of the picks and either LF or Thielen for a stud WR like OBJ, Nuk, or Thomas then I would do that in heartbeat. I would look to get 2020 1sts as well.

I am not a believer in any of these rookies. The only one I like is Jacobs and that's strictly due to his situation so if you can get a big overpay with 2020 1sts or move them for a proven stud I would do that in a heartbeat.
10-Team League, Non-PPR (QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, WR/RB/TE)
QB: Love, Watson, Cousins
RB: JT, Kyren, BRob, Roschon, Miles
WR: AJB, Wilson, Waddle, Puka, Higgins, Hopkins, Jeudy, Jameson Williams
TE: Okonkwo, Thomas
2024: 1st, 3rd, 4th, 4th, 5th

Yeah right now I have 3 2020 first rounders as well, but yeah I have tried trading for hopkins, thomas and Julio. The guy with OBJ just got him last year so he isnt coming off him right now. Its weird last 2 years everyone has been willing to deal with me but once i got my team the way it is and all the picks stock piled the trades have dwindled down lol
