TRADE COMPLETE -Enough for SF 1.01 or should I hold? REVISED OFFER

Postby SteveMaddensShoes » Sun May 12, 2019 9:23 pm

For team in sig

New offer-

1.01
2020 2nd,and 4th
David Moore

He sends-
Brandin Cooks
Damien Williams
Jerick McKinnon
2021 1st

What do we think?

Appreciate all the help previously. It seems like it was pretty split so I'm looking for a little more help.

I ended up taking that offer
.........

I'm getting an offer of

Send 1.01

Get Brandon Cooks, Damien Williams, Jerick McKinnon.

I want to just hold I think. I am rebuilding more than contending so I would need to flip Williams for a 1st(are people really paying that?)and package McKinnon and Coleman for a 1st(same problem as Williams)

It's like the value is close but I don't think it's worth it to my team

I don't LOVE any of those players but I still think you have to make the trade. Cooks is a top 15 WR and even if/when Williams loses touches he will still be a top 24 back. Then McCinnon is not a bad throw in.

Jacobs may pan out in Oakland bit might not.

I guess if you want to swing for the fences and hope Jacob blows up (and advanced metrics suggest he won't) you can keep the pick but the odds are he will under perform 2 proven players. (See Chris Perry, William Green Kijana Carter, Trent Richardson, Cadillac Williams).
Team 1 (superlex):

I'm also in a rebuild. I've posted here elsewhere about having the 1.01 and eventually picking Jacobs after several trade offer. If my offering team had thrown out Cooks (who they have) along with maybe a second player or decent pick, I probably would have accepted days ago, even being desperate for a solid RB. I think Jacobs, who I still have right now, will do fine. Cooks is on a good team with plenty of talent and getting Williams and McKinnon really help make the deal.

Meh...nothing there to make you give 1.1. Take kyler and see what you can get for a qb or 2 as time goes by.

I wouldnt take the package in hopes of flipping williams or mckinnon...cause there isnt a huge market for either.

If you think you can flip the players for more to rebuild I think its worth it, but I'd honestly try to gauge interest before committing to this. In my small corner of the dynasty world, multiple owners in multiple leagues aren't finding the market you 'd hope for with McKinnon. Somewhat easier perceived value in Damien Williams, owners seem clearly polarized love/hate of his value.

If you can't find possible partners with these players, I'd rather work with someone else to move the 1.01 for rebuilding capital.

Good luck!

Yeah it's superflex so I won't take Jacobs. Otherwise easy accept imo. Kyler though is on another tier.

I am worried I won't find a market for the Rbs. I wonder if he hasn't shopped them already and can't get anything...

If I can get a 2021 1st I'd probably do that

2021 1st added or not....this is not a very strong offer in my opinion. Cooks is a decent player, but we're talking 20-25 pts a game from qb. Murray is worth a solid offer, not a plain jane let him go for cheap type offer.

I realize he hasnt stepped on the field yet, but its no secret they want to throw a ton, he can run....there is potential for high end fantasy numbers right out of the gate. Time will tell here, but this isnt a deal id work around.

I'd hold unless there's no market for QB in your league. Murray should have a pretty good trade market in a superflex predraft or even afterwards.

If you can get a 1st for Williams and anything for McKinnon, then go for it. Not sure Williams gets you a 1st though, so I'd probably pass.

This is a close one and posters I trust are pretty split on it.

I'm not sure what to do...

The qb scoring is passing depressed slightly which would lend extra value to rushing(Murray) but also having 9 non QB positions makes me want to take the trade.

League isn't really used to superflex either so don't value QBs normally. Not sure I'll get better than this but maybe down the road I will
