I have an offer that would have me giving Godwin for a projected early 2020 1st. I have a lot of young receiving talent and w the small starting requirements for my league feel I can afford to give up Godwin for what could be a stud next year. Thoughts?

I don’t think Godwin will ever be a #1 and there is a lot of high end talent that can come out for 2020. If you can sacrifice wr2/3 production this year, I would take a gamble on the 2020 class.
If he came to you, I would also try to add a pick swap with your 4th for his 3rd.

I think you nailed it when you brought up the low starting roster requirements. In that kind of league you need to acquire star talent to win, and while Goodwin may turn into a very solid player I don't think many people expect him to be a true fantasy star at the receiver position long term.

Keep Godwin, why work to try and get Godwin again. Plenty of Treadwell and Doctson types, over Barkleys..don't get to cute in my opinion..

Next years class is really good at the top, though. If he can get Jeudy, or Swift, or L-S to replace Godwin, I think it's a no brainer.

Perhaps you should shop Godwin and your 2020 1st for an established young RB like Mixon. If Godwin is the centerpiece of your trade you can trade him straight up for Henry plus a little something. Another idea is to trade him and your 2019 first for a top 3 pick and his 2020 1st, take the rookie running back you like (montgomery) and since his 2019 was high, his 2020 might be as well. Kinda hedging your bet.
I like the last idea best. I can see why you would like your Rb's, but I think Chubb just went into some sort of committee. I have never been a big fan of Guice and reports of his rehab have all been negative, and although I love Chris Carson and think he is undervalued, I am also aware of the success rate of UDFA's. In short, and sorry for being blunt, I think you got a good chunk of fools gold at the Rb position.
But I've been wrong before....so beware of listening too closely to me......or Boss Ross. His takes can be a hot mess. I like to leave little easter eggs like for him in posts from time to time to see if he is listening.

I wouldn't need to be that confident. I expect a mid-first in next year's rookie draft to have a higher ADP than Godwin at that time. The fact that the pick is likely to be early gives this trade significant upside potential.
