Sutton Proposal

Postby PigeonBoys » Wed May 08, 2019 3:18 pm

I got an offer for Courtland Sutton, I’ve got too many wide receivers and not enough rb depth. I feel this is a little light but considering need I may take a shot. Need some help on this though!

I would hold Sutton for that. I think Jones II is going to get a better shot this year but Sutton is the WR1 in Denver already with the Sanders injury.

That's basically giving Sutton away for free. Don't give Sutton away for free.

I believe in buying low, but RoJo is terrible. Not sure there is any bouncing back for him.
Sutton has looked good and I think you can probably do better.

Maybe trade for an early/mid draft pick and try to get an RB there.

Team 2:

WR: Metcalf, AJ Brown, Alen Robinson, Crowder, Lazard

Follow up since this is pretty one sided. Would Chris Carson straight up move the needle at all? My league mates rarely trade rbs and most don’t value Sutton highly due to his qb situation. I just dealt with Fournette’s antics and Guice injury last year so resorted to Howard and Yeldon combo which is why I’m looking for reinforcements.

I would not move him for anyone in Seatle's backfield. There is way to much unknown there. Cohen, Lindsay, Freeman. Maybe Damien Williams. If they don't want to buy him at a reasonable value, then I wouldn't want to sell him. Certainly not for those prices.

Perhaps the Hunt owner is quite low on him, and you could get Hunt plus? Or pair LF with Sutton for a more secure RB?
I would be ok pairing Sutton with: DT, Tate, LF, Guice, Walker, Cook (sell him "high" in NO?!) if that means you can get a trusted RB.

No. Keep Sutton as his value will likely (hopefully) increase as the season goes along. These are all lowball offers.
