I’ve got the 1.01. Been offered Diggs straight up.
League will be transitioning to superflex in a year or two, voting for when is currently taking place.
We give 0.25 ppcarry. So rbs are also very valuable. I’ve got a lot of good young wr.
I only have cousins at qb. Keryon at rb. But Julio Kirk pettis parker Ridley at WR.
I’ve got quite a few moves to make. Does the difference between 1.01 and Diggs make you side with Diggs, or do I go qb/rb with the 1.01?

Re: 1.01 or Diggs
With the league going to SF, might be worth holding the pick and taking Murray for the future format.

Re: 1.01 or Diggs
get diggs, win before the shift, then adapt to SF.
unless you think murray becomes a top 5 QB.

Re: 1.01 or Diggs
If you aren't competing I'd be tempted to take Murray and get ready for SF

Re: 1.01 or Diggs
In a year or two? If this isnt set, I would take Diggs for sure. Actually, I would take Diggs regardless. Out of curiosity, is this the commish making the deal? I think if you guys are going to super flex, that should be decided (specifically when) before this rookie draft.
Re: 1.01 or Diggs
I am the commish. It will be decided before our draft kicks off. Currently the vote is split 4/4 with 4 still to vote between starting in 2020 or 21

Re: 1.01 or Diggs
If there is a possibility of this going into effect in 2020...I do not think you should make this trade before that is resolved. Changes like this are big and a perceived unfair advantage (whether true or not) can have a negative impact on the league (i.e., the commish made a trade and then this went into effect). Just my two cents and certainly not questioning your motives.
Re: 1.01 or Diggs
I do know exactly what you mean. I actually took over the league because the commish didn’t realize how shady his actions seemed on a regular basis. I won’t be pulling the trigger on any deal until voting is resolved. The change is happening, the owners voted on that already. Now just a matter of when. Appreciate the response. The Red Rooster wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 7:39 amIf there is a possibility of this going into effect in 2020...I do not think you should make this trade before that is resolved. Re: 1.01 or Diggs
It doesn't sound like you know when or if the league is transitioning to a SF. If you know it's happening for sure and it's soon, I guess take the 1.01 and draft Murray. Otherwise, I'd rather have Diggs.
Re: 1.01 or Diggs
The league is 100% transitioning to a SF. The only remaining bit to be decided is how soon. It is currently split between 2020 or 2021. Based on your reply, I’m assuming you’d hold, and take Murray?

Re: Update: 1.01 or Diggs, Starting SF next season
It has been decided. We will be starting Superflex in 2020. I have the 1.01. Other owner has now come back with Diggs and 2.05 for the 1.01?
Thoughts now that it's been decided?

I'd probably draft Murray unless you think Diggs wins you a title before the switch to SF.

Re: Update: 1.01 or Diggs, Starting SF next season
TAKE MURRAY!!! He will be worth 3x Diggs when the format changes, he'll be a stud in 1QB leagues and gold in SF. Take him, especially because you have 1 QB it's an easy decision, and if you wanna get a WR for him do it when it changes. A good young QB in a SF should net you a top 5 WR plus some and most people never trade top 10 QBs in SF unless it's a haul. Secure your 2 good young QBs and then never worry about the position again for 7 years.
He is trying to capitalize on great value at a discount before it changes.
