That trade doesn't make much sense to me, Johnson is fantastic but that's a ton of youth for a 30 year old. Leaves you with Stewart and Wells as your top 2 RBs and they both have their own issues.

I think thats a little too much to give up in this case. With your RB situation I think you need to keep Mathews, but maybe propose something like Desean plus the 1st rounder for AJ instead.

Good advice. Without seeing the other roster, I assume that the AJ owner is trying to move him for RB help and won't like this offer. But it's definitely worth trying.

If I was going to shell out that kind of youth talent I would probably trade for someone like Megatron (who I just did something similar) or Nicks IMO

seems like a lot of beef for an older WR. One of the teams in my 14 team, 4 player keeper league has AJ and White...I have Nicks and Wallace and to be honest I probably would be hard pressed to trade them 2 for 2.

...are Calvin or Nicks moveable in this league at all?

Calvin not a chance and Nicks possibly the owner needs RBs bad so I'd have to throw in most likely Matthews or Stewart

To be honest I would do that before I made a move for Andre. Nicks is like 7 years younger and can dominate just as well. He is easily top 3 on my dynasty list!

BTW, if you're trading for Andre, I would pluck Dorin Dickerson off the waiver wire & stash him. From what I've heard, he has similar size & athleticism, and is progressing well on his TE to WR conversion. Personally, if I was a project WR, I'd love to sit behind Andre & learn the jedi master himself. Decent chance he could be Andre's replacement whenever that happens.

Let's ask JoeDay on this one, since he's a Pitt alum & has probably followed Dickerson more than most of us....

Hard worker, smart...ran a sub 4.4 40 as a TE I believe. Very nice receiver and he will def learn quite a bit from AJ. All depends on if you have space to stash him on your roster.

Any team where I own Andre, I'll be owning Dickerson as well. If Andre can pass the torch, then you've covered the whole "Andre only has 3 years left while ____________ (insert your young WR) has 8 years left argument.

But yeah, Dickerson does tie up an extra roster spot.

Start just how you were advised earlier with AJ... Desean and 2012 1st for Nicks. See where negotiations go from there.
