I see Howard getting a majority of the 1st and 2nd down work early in the season while Sanders learns the system and the NFL but I see Sanders closing the year pushing hard for, and possibly getting more touches than Howard.

That's kinda what I see , Something like 225 carries , 20 catches for Howard , 150 carries , 3rd downs for Sanders.. Depending on how good Sanders turns out and how Howard is running , But he should take over in 2020 for sure.

Probably very similar to the Jeremy Hill/Joe Mixon season back in 17. Clement or Smallwood playing the Gio role.

Sanders’ ceiling is a bit higher this season than Mixon’s was that year, due to the (perceived) better situation.

I think the situation much better for Sanders, O-line much better in Philly then Bengals when Mixon came aboard. By week 3, if Sanders can hold on to the ball, he will be feature back on 1st and 2nd downs. Howard was grabbed as cheap insurance.
