Would you swap AJG for....

Postby LMS123 » Thu Apr 18, 2019 6:57 pm

Team 1 in Sig.

I acquired AJG this offseason; I perpetually have an infatuation trying to make my team younger. Using dynastytradecalculator.com (with a grain of salt) here’s some guys with a similar value to AJG (19.9), would you trade him straight up for any?

- Allen Robinson (19.3)
- Jarvis Landry (20.0)
- Courtland Sutton (21.3)
- TY Hilton (24.3)
- Cooper Kupp (16.2)
- Chris Godwin (15.2)
- Kenny Golladay (25.4)
- Robert Woods (17.5)

I’m open to others too; what would you do?
Jake Fromm State Farm (12 team PPR SF)
QB: Purdy, ARich (TS), Levis (TS), Bagent, Hall, Rudolph, Fromm
RB: Roschon (TS), Allgeier, Hill, Demercado, McLaughlin, Mitchell, K. Harris, E. Wilson
WR: Addison, London, Jmo, Shaheed, Reed (TS), Pop D, Iosivas, C. Jones, Mooney, T. Palmer, Scott, Tucker, Austin, Gipson, Melton,
TE: Musgrave, Mayer (TS), Trautman, Gray, Jordan
2024: 1.01, 1.07, 2.04, 2.10, 2.11, 3.01, 3.06, 3.07, 3.11
2025: 1, 1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4

I voted Golladay and Sutton but I'd trade him straight for any of those guys except maybe Godwin or Kupp.
But good luck with that as in my leagues nobody wants anything to do with AJG at any price.

I know he was injured but I find that surprising; he was getting like 20 points a game through the first 8 weeks last season

Yeah...but he's OOLLLLLLDDDDDD!
Plus recency bias. It's really frustrating... :wall:

He’s the same age as AB and Julio! How can he be old haha. Not saying that directly to you I know he’s perceived that way but in comparison it’s tough to say he’s old

He's about 6 months younger than Julio but they're all 30.
When most of the people playing dynasty FF see a "3" as the first number of any NFL player's age, they act like lobotomized morons.
Best strategy is to wait until the season, when AJG has a few good games - and if you're not a contender, trade him off to a contender for one of the guys who's underperforming or for 2020 1st(s).
BTW, I feel your pain, I have Julio in several leagues, AJG in a couple, and AB in a couple. And there is Zero trade market for them. Nobody wants them at all.

Good luck.
