Joe Mixon for 3 high 2020 1sts?!?

Yo so I’m tryna prove to a friend in my league (1st year, and a lot of people not sold on picks), that 3 2020 1sts, 2 of them top 3 and one top 5, are way more valuable to a rebuilding team than Joe Mixon himself. In fact all three of those picks could land joe mixon’s with how good some of those RBs are. Who’s gonna back me up

The top three backs in 2020 Taylor, Etienne, and Swift all have the potential to be better than Mixon, and getting three of them...easily the picks. Two top 5 picks in 2020 would prob be enough tbh.

Sure, in theory those picks would be more valuable...but how do you know that two are guaranteed top 5?

I'm very high on Mixon, but this is a quick accept for me.

I take the picks in a vacuum but what happens if injuries and other players stepping up causes the picks to be later. I prefer Mixon slightly to 1.04, 1.08, 1.09 in 2020 i think if the picks didn't play out as expected. How sure are you here on the top 5 picks?

Ha! I kind of agree but with the usual caveat that you can never be 100% sure where those picks will be. Odds are probably with you for 2 out of 3 to hit early though so would probably take the deal....cause 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

I'd probably move Mixon for that as well if I'm rebuilding, but there's also always the chance that 2 or 3 of the picks bust and the trade ends up being worse for you. With that said, I'd still take my chances with next year's draft, but it's still no sure thing.

Yeah how do you know all those picks will be that high? I’ve seen last place teams win it all the next year and the go back to last place the year after its difficult to say with any certainty where picks will land so far in the future. In a trade like this you gotta ask yourself if you’d be happy to make it if you got the last three picks in the first or not cause hypothetically it could happen
