So i put an offer out this morning to one of the weaker teams in the league. He has lots of holes to fill with limited cap space in our league ($140 budget for 20 team league) i believe he will have $40 right now. I offered him this.
I receive: Chris Godwin and 1.5
Id give up: 1.8, pick 25 and 30 overall, with $5 cap space.
He would techincally gain $8 in salary by trading Godwin ($3 salary for the year) is it a bad offer or what else would i have to give up?
For the rest of my team with smaller pieces i do have Ito Smith, Keke Coutee, and Hayden Hurst.
Any help is appreciated

If the other owner is a bad spot and needs lots of help, I would submit the offer and see what he comes back with.

I think that's an easy reject and no counter.
Picks 25 and 30 equate to an early and mid 3rd. This comes down to
1.05 = 1.08, 25 and 30
Godwin >> $8 in cap space
I would keep it simple and offer something like Godwin for $5, 1.08. I'd still make you pay more if it were my share of Godwin, but it would be a better starting point.

I agree easy reject.. Godwin is prob worth all that alone, don’t think the other owner would add 1.5 too.

No way the little in contract savings would justify me giving up the 2 best pieces
