Trading Guice for picks

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trading Guice for picks

Postby scoob19 » Wed Mar 13, 2019 9:02 pm

14 team ppr, I have a lot of RB depth (Barkley, Chubb, Mixon, Guice, A Jones, Lindsay, Carson, Breida - RIP). Anyways, guy is interested in Guice and wants to trade picks. I haven’t been too interested lately about trading him but I’m a little scared of the AP signing and he general offensive mess in Washington.

He has 1.08, 1.11, 1.14, a few 2nds and then a 2020 1st. What would it take for you to move Guice? I own the 1.01 already and generally value Guice around the 1.01. I also like the idea of getting more picks in the 2020 class.

Maybe see if he would do 1.08 and 2020 1st. If you think his pick will be early next year I would consider the 2020 1st and 1 of the other late 1st’s. I don’t think I would sell guice for a random 2020 and much later though.

I really don't think Guice should fetch 2 firsts at this point, if one is in the 2020 class. That class is loaded, and Guice is coming of an ACL tear and in a terrible situation. I'd take any first and a 2020 first for Guice right now, who profiles as a 2 down back in a bad offense.

Guice is still very young was a top rookie in a loaded class too. Sure he tore his ACL but he should be able to bounce back. When you look at a late 1st this year and a rondom potentially late 1st next i would rather have a top tier prospect. If he trades for 1.11 and say gets the 1.14 next year that would be a horrible trade for guice. IMO

I'm a Guice guy, but would consider moving him for the 1.08 and a 2020 1st. Otherwise, for any significant amount less, I'd rather just hold him and see what happens.

 I thought this was SF/TE premium, probably because my 14 teamer is and it's late. That makes a difference. Sorry. Still not high on Guice and his situation, but I agree.
