Golladay/1.09 or Diggs

Postby psfox2010 » Thu Mar 07, 2019 10:37 am

Which side would you prefer? Involves the team listed in my signature below. I'm a Diggs guy, so I'll probably decline it, but I want to make sure I'm not passing on a good deal due to being a homer.
10 team, Full PPR, 27 man roster
2018 Champion, 2020 Champion
QB/2 RB/2 WR/1 TE/2 Flex/Defense/Kicker

QB: Allen, Watson, Fields
RB: Barkley, Taylor, Harris Chubb
WR: Ridley, Cooper, Thielen, M. Thomas, D. Smith, Boyd E. Moore, R. Moore, Reagor, St. Brown
TE: Kelce, Fant, Engram
Defense: Denver
Kicker: Gay

2022: None
2023: 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd

I own Diggs and can't get this feeling of how inconsistent he can be. Every week its a flip of the coin because Vikings either feed him or Adam T. Golladay really doesn't have that issue in Detroit and a 1.09 never hurts.

This is fake news. The Vikings feed them both a ton.

Diggs had 30 more targets. Golladay had 5 games under 9 points. Diggs had 4 games under 10 but only 2 of those games under 9 points.

Diggs per game average was 3.86 points higher on average than Golladay. 10th for Diggs, 20th for Golladay (full season stats)

Diggs: Total receptions 102 on 148 targets 9 TD's 268 Points
Golladay: Total receptions 70 on 118 targets 5 TD's 210.1 Points

That said the deal is close. Both WR's are good and 1.9 has value so no issues with the trade.

I voted Diggs. Thinking you have solid starting lineup and you can load up on talent (hopefully get some depth at RB) in next year's draft with your 3 first round picks. Feel like neither Golladay or 1.09 will be as good as Diggs.
Did just realize it is a 10 team league...so don't know how good the starters are compared to the top teams.
I'm too ashamed of any of my teams to post.

Golladay didn't exactly steal the show when he was given the chance after Tate was traded and Jones was hurt. Too much hype imo, I'd go with Diggs, what are you getting at 1.09 that would make the difference?

Diggs side for me. Something bothers me about Golladays value being so high. He seems to disappear too much and I don't have much faith in Stafford. But take this with a grain of salt, as I have not watched much of the Lions, and this is more of a gut feeling.

I prefer Golladay + 1.09, as I don't see a huge difference between the two WRs, but if you prefer Diggs, that's fine too. It's not like you're missing out on a huge overpay with the 1st being fairly late.

I say Golladay + 1.09. I think he's going to be special soon. WR1 or big WR2. With the #9 you could get a stud TE (Fant maybe) or a really good RB (Singletary?) or a decent WR.

Diggs is the better of the two bit the 1.09 is decent value that in my opinion bumps the golladay side over the diggs.
