Draft plan

Postby Pantherbro13 » Sun Mar 03, 2019 8:22 am

I am going into the draft hoping for two WRs after already trading for Adam Thielen this offseason. I am a contender in this league, finished 10-4 in first place but lost in the semis. Based on what you know, would you stand pat and draft two WRs at 9/10 or use them to try move up to five for a better WR?

I would personally take the best player available. Looks like you need the help at WR (as mentioned) and TE is very weak. I would not go in with the mind set of drafting a certain position no questions asked.

I only start 2-3 RBs. I’m really hoping a RB doesn’t drop and entice me to take them. I need WR and TE help not RB. Other starting requirements are 3-4 WRs and 1-3 TEs.

I would hold either 9 or 10 and draft your favorite TE from the draft (fant, hockinson{sp?}, Etc). Then I'd look to package the other pick and a Watkins caliber player to move up to ~1.05 if you can. Someone might be enticed to take a QB early and a great WR prospect could fall to 5.... 1.04 would be a better target if you can pull it off.

I think this wide receiver class is good enough depth wise that you can still get a good prospect lower down. I think anywhere from 5-10 could be pretty similar
