Price for DJ

The DJ owner im my league is considering trading him. He will be looking for picks.

I am holding 1.01, 1.03, 1.11, 2.09, 3.06
2020 1st (mid/early), 2020 2nd
2022 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

What would be fair and what do you guys think should be enough to get him??

Not enough imo. Not in this draft class which doesn't have any perceived elite RB and agree you will probably need to add the 2020 1sr

Seems like a good starting point. Not sure where everyone values Johnson right now so I would start here.

This is the price point buyers are willing to buy. Sellers most likely wont be giving him up for that. Because of this he is a hold for owners.

That seems like a lot. If you believe in the new coaching staff and their offensive system then might be worth it. DJ did produce RB1 numbers last year in an atrocious situation so its reasonable to think he could produce top 5 numbers with an improved system around him. Still that's a lot to pay for a player with DJs question marks and age

This is basically that first offer but even worse.

In my opinion:

1.01, 1.03, 2020 1st > DJ (even in a “weak draft class”, since that 2020 1st will be valuable)

2020 2nd > Brady (he’ll be a retirement timebomv)

The exchange of 3rds is pretty much meaningless to me.

I would try to get the first offer. If DJ’s situation improves he’s going to be top 5. He did finish with 2200 yards and 20 tds and 80 receptions in 2016 after all. Anyways, he doesn’t have the carries any other rb his age would as he was older when he entered the NFL and missed 2017 obviously. I think it’s also just really hard to come off injury and produce right away much like OBJ this past year. I’d still trade the picks for DJ. Basically as soon as you miss on 1/3 of those picks your gambling big time already. Even if DJ has a year slightly better than this year, his value will go up quite a bit in my opinion.
