I recently took over an orphan in a 12 team ppr. It is in fairly good shape other than at the RB position where my only RB of note is Bell.

Top players for me
QB- Brady , Mayfield
RB- Bell, Hines
WR- OBJ, Ginn Jr. , Jeffery, Woods, Kirk
TE- Doyle

Not my complete roster but top players. Roster sizes are 24 I am currently at 22 . We start 9 , 1-2-2-1-3 flex ( RB,WR,TE). My first pick this year is the 2.3 .

I have had 2 owners approach me about OBJ .

Owner 1 has offered 3 firsts including 2 that are late this year and his first next. Players of note on his team are D.Cook, DJ Moore and Landry .

Owner 2 has offered to include the 1.1 in a deal but would rather hold his first next year . Players of note he has are Barkley , Mack, CMC , A. Miller , Arob, Gesicki and Sutton. Also, noted that Barkley , Mack, and CMC are pretty much not available.

What moves if any should I look for or players added from their roster in the deals? I don’t see the team as a total rebuild so I am also good with holding OBJ.

I would offer Beckham to Owner 2 for 1.01 + Mack + Robinson + 2020 2nd.

Offer 1 not close at all. Team 2 doesn't really have anything appealing to add to 1.1 if those 3 are off the table. "I want your top 6 dynasty player but I'm not willing to move any of my top 30 guys" is pretty much a non-starter anyway.

I would just hold. Neither of these guys seem serious about paying what OBJ is actually worth.

i would just hold OBJ. Owner 2 not at least putting Mack on the table is a bit of a joke. But if you are really looking to see how serious owner 2 is, I would ask for the 1.01, 2020 1st, and Mack, if they are coming for a top 10 dynasty asset they have to expect to part with assets they are uncomfortable giving up. Owner 1 just doesn't have the pieces imo to make a strong enough offer. It would take both their late 1sts, the 2020 1st and DJ Moore to even get me interested.

I would not sell OBJ for that, he is worth more.

Also, OP mentioned that Mack is pretty much unavailable.

If he isn't willing to deal any of his top guys then I would hold. Not worth trading a dollar for 3 quarters.

really not a fan of this. 3 massive risks for OBJ is a hard pass and i dont think it helps OP, unless its to help him tank

I would hold Beckham. His price is not going anywhere. If you want to move him, do it closer to the season when everyone is more desperate to get their guy. Prices are less in the off season always.

I feel like I see this a lot on here, "Took over an orphan so looking to make moves" and then owners in the league look to take advantage and make insulting low ball offers. Hey I've got the 1.01 and that it, Marlon Mack is off the table....He wants a top 3 WR and takes a top 15-20 RB off the table!? get real. Tell all of them at OBJ is a top 6 startup pick and you value him as such. If they want him they will have to make a REAL offer.
