Re: Austin Hooper vs Hunter Henry (poll)
Henry >= Hooper
I wouldn't add anything significant to Hooper to get Henry, probably a mid/late 2nd at most. I doubt most Henry owners would sell for that though.

Re: Austin Hooper vs Hunter Henry (poll)
Agree that the consensus will go with Henry, but I'm not sure what makes him so much better than Hooper. I don't see a big gap at all.

Re: Austin Hooper vs Hunter Henry (poll)
Henry is the flashier name for sure, but Hooper has improved every yer and was a top 8 TE last year. Until I see a follow up from Henry from his rookie year, I would go Hooper.

Re: Austin Hooper vs Hunter Henry (poll)
Henry is the superb route runner and he's a big time red zone threat. Hooper really has done that much. He went over 70 yards twice and didn't eclipse more than 80 yards even once. Go back to year 2 where he didnt exceed 50 yards in a single game outside of a 2 catch 128 yard game where was left wide open for an 80 yard TD.

He just had a 70 catch season, Hooper is underrated, getting better each year. I own some shares of both. I'd definitely try to sell Henry for Hooper +... savvy move in my opinion.Space Cowboy wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 3:07 pm Henry is the superb route runner and he's a big time red zone threat. Re: Austin Hooper vs Hunter Henry (poll)
I'm surprised this is as close as it is. This is Henry for me by a good amount. This was a horrible year for TE's- Hooper was TE 7 in total yards with 660. Just 100 yards less would have dropped him all the way down to TE 15 while 100 yards more would only move him up 1 spot.
If I'm a Hooper owner and I could get Henry I'd pull the trigger as fast as I could. Henry can be elite and I just don't see that in Hooper.

Re: Austin Hooper vs Hunter Henry (poll)
I really like Henry, but he has to show me first before I'll go into a season with him as my TE1. I don't think I'll be trading him, though. In my opinion, his value will do nothing but go up from here once his health improves and he's a regular on the field.Gator Sens wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 1:36 pm Henry is the flashier name for sure, but Hooper has improved every yer and was a top 8 TE last year. Re: Austin Hooper vs Hunter Henry (poll)
hooper is kyle rudolph to me and henry is like ertz.
one is just a guy fine to get you by at TE, the other has elite option potential.
Gates got 45 targets this season, im guessing HH doubles that and gets somewhere in the 80-100 range. thinking he has 800 and 10 potential. Hooper just had 88 targets and that included 3 games with double digit looks (not something i expect to happen even that often again) and got 660 and 4, if HH got the same looks i'm anticipating an extra 150-200 yards and double the scores (8 his rookie year gives me hope that 4 in the sophomore campaign was an aberration.)

Yes and I illustrated how inefficient he was with those catches. In three years he's barely had an impactful games. He's a back end TE1 in a very weak TE pool.FantasyFreakGuru wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 6:33 pmHe just had a 70 catch season, Hooper is underrated, getting better each year. I own some shares of both.
