Ertz/Guice trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Ertz/Guice trade

Postby zacharyringer12 » Thu Jan 17, 2019 9:44 pm

For team one in the sig, would you trade OJ howard and Derrius Guice for Zach Ertz and Tevin coleman? Upgrades my starting TE but lose a little RB depth. Thanks for the replies.

Sounds like a free Tevin to me

Ertz = Guice and Howard

No? Maybe I'm just not that high on Guice as others. If anything, I think it's fair. Wouldn't blame you for declining if you love Howard as your TE1. I just know that Ertz is THE TE1

I think you go the side of Guice and Howard. I think that Guice will be a solid RB when he comes back and you got a young TE1 with Howard. Go with the side of youth and talent. Not sure what will become of Coleman but Guice is locked in as the RB1 with the skins.

Ertz is a stud no doubt and he’s proven to not be injury prone, but OJ was putting up top 5 stud TE numbers before getting hurt last year and has nowhere to go but up. Guice has elite upside but may not be a true RB1 stud until 2020 given the state of the Redskins offense, I definitely think he’s far superior to Tevin Coleman unless Coleman lands in KC or Indy. I think this really comes down to personal preference, it sounds like a reasonable trade. I’d personally take the Guice/Howard side though.

I'd lean Ertz. I like howard but by no means is he in the top 3 tier of TE's that give such a huge positional advantage.

In a heartbeat. Ertz alone is worth Guice + Howard.

i think it's close but may slide over to the ertz/tevin side, esp if tevin can land in a good spot.

I go Ertz side because:

Ertz is the only guy that we for sure know is a stud in this trade.

- OJHoward: How will Arians affect his value, as well as splitting with Brate still?
- Guice: Haven’t seen him in the regular season yet; who knows what he’ll be?
-Coleman: Where will he go and what will he do there?

Give me the known top TE + a gamble vs two gambles.
