Team in Sig. Half pt PPR league. Looking to trade a 29 yr old TY for a young promising WR and serviceable RB. Was thinking of Mike Williams and Chris Carson. Wanted to get the thoughts of the community. My concern is M. Will shares serious targets with Allen and HH, but has skills and size to be a WR1.

Was thinking it would be good to sell TY while he still has a decent amount of value. He'll be turning 30 next season and probably only has 2-3 seasons left of WR1/2 production. Am i cutting bait too early?

With your team, I’d take that. Hilton is a great receiver, but Williams has up side and bags of potential. It’s only a matter of time until he comes good imo.

And I think very highly of Carson and believe he will fend off Penny to stay as their RB1 for years.

If that deal is on the table it is a smash accept for me.

Yea that's about right. You might need to add a pick but no higher than mid second is what I would add. Then if you can scoop Rpenny for cheap as a solid handcuff, that might be good business since he's definitely being written off as a bust already by some.

Carson is an injury or a big Penny game away from becoming the backup. I'd value him around a mid 2nd, if that. While Williams has shown big flashes and could break out next year, he's still the no. 2 WR behind Allen for now. I'd value him around a late 1st.

Williams had a couple of big games toward the end of the season, and Hilton had some quiet games due to injury. The fact is Hilton is the no. 1 WR on a very good IND offense now that Luck is healthy and the offensive line has been fixed. I would need at least a mid 1st on top of Williams + Carson to sell Hilton.

I'm not a fan of that return. Hilton will still be productive for 2-3 more years and is worth more than that. Also, if you're selling Hilton and trying to get younger, you should do the same with Green. Just make sure you're getting better value.
