WR vs RB

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

WR vs RB

Postby saw061600 » Sat Dec 29, 2018 4:31 pm

For team 2, just received this offer:
Give Golladay and 1.09
Get Fournette

Thinking of asking for pick 16 added to Fournette (feel I'm probably in the minority in believing Fournette side needs to add but there it is)

I've a great deal of negative bias regarding Fournette; feel he's going to be injured often, and a great positive bias for Golladay whom I grabbed in the 5th round last year.

Looking for opinions and thoughts.

EDIT: Or maybe, since he's always injured too, swap out Golloday for Watkins?

I'd keep golladay and the pick, I'm one with a positive bias in that direction.

Keep Golladay.
Fournette is fragile and will continue to be a thorn in his fantasy owners side.

i agree...i traded Fournette for Guice and 2019 1st (turned into 1.04)...but then of course Guice got injured and had a setback in recovery...but i still feel okay about the trade...

If you are in the minority, then I’m right there with ya.

I like Golladay and the pick. Fournette is a RB1 when on the field, and that situation can only get better for him, though. I think Fournette gets dumped on around here a bit, while a guy like Dalvin Cook seems to get way more love, yet Cook has missed more time over the first 2 years. I think the deal is fair, but I like Kenny G, so I'd lean to that side. If you could get Fournette for Watkins and 1.09, I'd do that all day.

How long has the situation in JAX been a situation that can only get better? I think the only way his situation gets better while he is still relevant is for him to be traded/not extended after his rookie deal and he goes to a team that with an established offense. But maybe a new situation is the Fournette situation you were talking about.

Edit: FF, if my initial response came off as a little critical, it was not the intent. After rereading my reply, I thought it might have sounded a bit more harsh than intended.

If he would take watkins and a 1st for LF, that is a much closer trade for me.

I really doubt someone excepts Watkins instead of galloday. Galloday is a rising star but Watkins just doesn't carry much value. He is always injured and only has a couple nice games a yeat
