championship trade. 2019 1.1 for Robby Anderson and 2019 1.7, 1.12

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I actually think if you look at andersons performance the last 3 weeks that he is probably worth close to a late 1st. He has undeniable chemistry and he has talent. He is a bonehead but he was battling an injury and so was darnold. I dont think hes completely boom or bust. Maybe im crazy. Id give a 2nd for him

I read the Ballage thread about every other guy being worth a late first in most guys' minds and laughed at it, but honestly Robby is worth a late first.

He's an absolute moron, but if I'm the reigning champion and own the 1.12, I'm throwing it at Robby all day. He's not efficient and he's very boom or bust, but he's also 6'3, explosive, 25 years old, and we've yet to see him in a stable, consistent competent QB situation. By giving the 1.12 for him you're taking a chance on 1. Darnold's further development. 2. Jets not bringing in other WR's 3. Robby being able to stay out of trouble, but maybe Darnold DOES continue to improve and develop further AND the Jets maybe DO NOT invest significantly in another WR, AND maybe Robby can finally NOT be a moron and with slightly improved efficiency can be a 65/1000/6 guy to flex weekly? That type of season would make him a WR2 in most leagues!

I understand it's a riskier bet than what many may feel like bothering with.

I doubt anderson owners are moving him for a pick in the 10-16 range. Most didnt last offseason, so not sure they see reason to now.
