Yes I don't think it's bad but it's a decline for me.

Obviously our starting requirements/depth come into greater play than they do in a 10 team league so you might want to take these into account before offering your advice and calling players junk/trash.
LOL.

You might want to do two things.

1.) Double check my league settings where there is a WR/TE flex spot, so we can start 30 WRs every week compared to your leagues 36... not a big difference.

2.) Try focusing on every other post in this thread which tends to agree with my assessment, instead of acting like my opinion isn’t the consensus.

djeternal2 wrote: Thu Dec 06, 2018 2:12 pm It's a 9 keeper league which places an even higher premium on studs. You start 3 WRs and only 1 TE. So based on YOUR setup Hill >>>> Kittle. Your opening offer might get talks started but imo it isn't close to getting Hill.
Agreed, studs reign supreme. That also means those two picks are more valuable in this setting, so pick your poison. Trade has been accepted.

Recency bias is a real thing for a lot of people. No doubt I am buying Tyreek near his peak but I would be willing to bet that if we have some good rookies come out this year (I believe we will), if Kittle keeps performing, Tate continues to be a WR2, Callaway develops and Ingram either stays in NO or goes to a better landing spot (KC/OAK)... how bad this trade could look down the road. Kittle and hitting 1 pick alone could make this trade look bad hindsight, but I'm competing so I made the move.

All I will say is sometimes diversification is better than putting all of your eggs in one basket and can allow for an immediate fix to a team - I've done it myself where I was the one giving up the stud and I was told it was an undersell...well those moves worked out great for me because I am good at evaluating talent and those moves provided significant returns to my team since I bought the players before they blew up.

Studs are great, but studs have to start somewhere and they have a learning curve in the NFL typically... and that's why draft picks are so valuable - all it takes is 1 right pick to add another stud to the arsenal. Remember when Tyreek was being valued by many as a 5-7th round rookie talent in dynasty?! Look where we are now...those that can draft can truly build the best dynasties and that is why I value draft picks so highly, but to each their own.

1) we can start 48 vs your 30 (I was referring to the league minimum starting requirements) in the 36 vs 20
2) I have, those that can draft and value upcoming talent say it seems fair; those that struggle with drafting or don't know what Kittle can become say otherwise

That's a lot of IFs for all of those pieces to come true. I'd laugh at the offer for Tyreek regardless if you could start 10 WR

I guess that's why everyone views things differently and that's the beauty of FF.

Kittle is my TE3 and I've been high on him since last year, but this isn't close for Hill.
