Trying to Acquire Tyreek or Juju

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trying to Acquire Tyreek or Juju

Postby block2323 » Wed Dec 05, 2018 7:48 am

It's week 14 and playoffs are here! This is for my team in the signature and I have reached the point with my team where teams are afraid to trade with me because they don't want to make my team "too stacked". I am trying to upgrade my WR currently from Emmanuel sanders with one of the two teams that are out of contention. Both teams are lacking at TE/RB and WR3. I would be trading the following in both transactions - my question is, do you think I'm giving up enough? If not, what should I add?

What I'm giving:
George Kittle
Emmanuel Sanders
Antonio Callaway or Dante Pettis
Mark Ingram or Spencer Ware
2019 1st (another teams that I would play 2nd round if I win this week - pick is 9-12 range)
2019 2.04

What I'm receiving:
Option 1:
Juju
2019 1.01

Option 2:
Tyreek
2019 1.05
12 Team, .5 PPR, 9 Keepers, 21 Man Roster + 2 IR Spots
Start: 1QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 Flex, 1 TE, 1K, 1 Def

QB: T. Brady
RB: D. Johnson, N. Chubb, L. Fournette, C. Hyde, I. Smith, M. Davis
WR: OBJ, T. Hill, K. Allen, C. Kupp, D. Pettis, E. Sanders, D. Hamilton, R. Foster, J. Crowder, T. Patrick
TE: O. Howard, D. Goedert, C. Herndon
Def: Jax
K:

2019: 1.02, 2.01, 2.09, 3.02, 4.03, 4.05, 4.12
2020: 1st (x2), 2nd (x1), 3rd (x1), 4th (x2)

Take either of those deals and run. They're worried about making you too stacked but are willing to give you top 10 dynasty assets for pieces? Lol

Plus you only keep 9 so this is essentially Kittle the late 1st and 2nd for Tyreek or Juju and an early 1st. Either way you slice it that's a major win for you

Great deal for you! I would give up: Kittle, Sanders, Pettis, Ingram + the picks for either deal. I think Hill has the most blowup/huge game potential but JuJu is a top 10 Dynasty WR in my opinion too. I would probably lean toward the JuJu package but I think it comes down to personal preference. Both are great deals. The only player that is tough to move in the deal for me would be Kittle.

I proposed both deals as I do have a pretty deep team thanks to selling players such as OBJ, Guice and Hunt during the year. Both teams are lacking assets besides these players - the league is pretty top heavy (6 teams are true contenders and the other 6 have work to do). Do you think I'm giving up enough? I am someone that enjoys trading but want to make sure it's fair value for them too because both seem skeptical lol.

If you proposed both of those deals they're WAY light.

You're offering bits and pieces and the 1.9-12 for a young stud (top 10-15 player) + the 1.1 or 1.5?

So you're expecting a good TE, old WR, decent young WR, old RB, and late pick to garner top end player PLUS a move up in the draft?

Way off dude.

What's your suggestion of what I need to trade to get them then? I've seen topics of Kittle going for the 1.01 so would like to hear your thoughts of what would get it done? Also this is a 9 person keeper league and both teams have 5-6 current keepers. Thanks.

These are way off if you can only keep 9 players. If you want to make a serious offer then go Chubb and Kupp plus your late first for Hill. Or Chubb and Kupp plus your 2.04 for JuJu. Do not ask for their first back. Or replace Kupp with Kittle if they would prefer that.

Thanks for the feedback. I was obviously over valuing Kittle and the 2 picks in this scenario as it has been made clear. I tried offering Kupp but there wasn't much interest.

Think of it in their shoes. Why would they want Kittle for JuJu or Hill plus they have to move back in the first? All those other pieces probably aren’t keepers when you only keep 9. Maybe Sanders/Ingram makes the cut but they are older. JuJu and Hill are so young.

Those other pieces would be keepers for them...as I mentioned their teams are bad. Both teams would need these pieces to fill in.

The team with Tyreek has the following 6 keepers currently (Evans, tyreek, tevin Coleman, marquise Goodwin, fuller, mayfield) - he was one of the lowest scoring teams in the league

The team with JuJu was the lowest scoring team in the league and has the following keepers (Juju, A. Miller, Gallup, wentz, Baldwin, Ronald jones?, Ajayi who I don't like)...

At the end of the day, I figured 2 early stabs would be beneficial over 1 and then getting players to fill out their rest of their rosters. I'm fine sitting on my squad if that's what it takes because I apparently over value Kittle and I like having later picks because I am good at finding value in the draft late 1st/early 2nd.

I updated it to the following for Tyreek (all would be keepers for this team):

Kittle
Sanders or Tate
Ingram or Ware
Pettis or Callaway
2019 1st (9-12 range)

I still think it's light but much closer than your original offer.

I'd aim for Tyreek Hill. One of my biggest regrets was trading him and Doug Martin for Julio last year when I thought Hill was going to have durability issues based off his size. How I was wrong. Juju is nice but Hill has an insane ceiling.
