Trading with fellow playoff contenders?

Do you do it? Obviously the idea is to win it all and to challenge every year, so would you strengthen a play-off contender if the deal is good value for you?

I have been offered 2 firsts for Lindsay, 1 2019, the other 2020. Both likely 1.10-1.12. He was the strongest team last year, but I managed to win the ship. I am 9-3 this year, he is 8-4. Both going to the playoffs


Standard scoring makes me more tempted by this one.

I am currently starting Lindsay, Ingram and Gurley. If I trade Lindsay, I will be starting Carson or Drake.

Is this too good value to pass up, even though it strengthens a direct rival?

Fair point. My question was more about strengthening them for this year, but weakening them in the longer run

id jump at two firsts for lindsay, sounds like you have guys to plug in his spot. big win longterm imo. but we do play to win so if you think this hurts you too much and helps them too much then dont do it. trust your gut

I’d go for it. I don’t think Lindsay will hold up season after season with his size. Having multiple 1sts for a few years gives you flexibility also. If the draft in 2020 is a good as it’s projected to be you may be able to move a late 2019 1 st to a rebuilding team for their 2020 1st. Lots of options for you, I’d go for it.
