Hopkins Trade offer

Postby DynastyNewb » Fri Nov 09, 2018 8:22 pm

Hay all just got an offer for nuk after work. Its for my team 2 in sig in which I am currently 3-6 and that is tied for 2nd to last. There is a team at 2-7, 2 at 3-6, 3 at 4-5, 4 at 5-4 and 1 at 6-3. With my team I dont know if i try to push in trades to make it to the playoffs (top 6) advance or start a mini rebuild. The offer is for 4 2019 1sts that come from 2 from teams at 5-4 1 from a team at 4-5 and my pick back. So quick look.

Give Nuk
Get 4 2019 1sts

Thx for the understanding and reading the hot mess.

That’s right about where his value is. But for me that’s just too much risk. You’ll be lucky if two of those picks hit. And it’s almost guaranteed none will be of the same calibre as Nuk.

Wow that is a boat load of decent picks. I would still lean the Hopkins side though I wouldn't blame you for taking the trade offer, it's a pretty good deal.

I'll still take Hopkins. I'd be trying to sell Julio AJG and Hilton though.

Great value but Hopkins is special. I would hold Hopkins, sale off other assets and start to rebuild.

I keep Hopkins. Even though 4 1st round picks is great its highly unlikely that any of them become Nuk. If this was the 2018 draft class I would probably have pulled the trigger, but not for the 2019 class.

It is very rare to get four firsts for a player in the same draft. I would have no problem with doing this trade. But if you do...I guess either way, I would be doing as the above posts say. Start selling you other players too...i.e. juilo, agj, Miller, Henry and do a full blown rebuild. Either way, I would be doing a rebuild..the question is..do you want to build around Hopkins or the four first round picks. 50/50 for me.

it depends on how you have been at rookie drafts...do you do your homework and have you had success with your picks?
the value is right, but i am not sure i would make the move for all unknowns...
i would rather sell Julio and AJG and build around Hopkins

My personal rule of thumb: When giving away a stud, at least 1 established, proven asset needs to return. 4 firsts are nice, but they're all lottery.
12 TEAM SUPERFLEX, TE Premium, 25 man rosters

TE - M Andrews | Friermuth

2023 Picks: 1st round(2), 2nd round(2), 3rd round (2)

Nuk, because of the four picks you'll be lucky if three hit. More likely it's two, and then what are the odds you get one as good as him.
