Hopkins Trade, Need Advice

So this is for my team in my sig. I'm currently in third place, I also have the 3rd most points scored in the league. So I think I'm pretty competitive. I feel like I'm just missing that one last piece to get me over the hump.

I've been going back and forth with the Hopkins owner, and this is what it has come down to:

Hopkins for Corey Davis, Njoku, and my two 2019 1sts. One of them is currently the 1.02, but there are several teams bunched up and it could end up being a mid 1st.

Corey hasn't been playing for me, since I have Tyreek Hill and Keenan Allen, plus I have young guys like DJ Moore and Michael Gallup.

I've been playing Kittle at TE, and I have Hunter Henry, so Njoku is my 3rd TE.

Losing the two firsts hurt, but I feel like my team is actually pretty young, especially for how competitive I've been. And Hopkins is obviously a top five fantasy talent.

So I kind of feel like it may be a little bit of an overpay, but if this is what it's going to take to get Hopkins, I feel like it's worth it. But I want some outside opinions here. Thoughts?

I think I would do it as well. You are replacing Davis with Hopkins, which is obviously a massive upgrade. With Kittle and Henry you do not need Njoku. 2019 seems to be a weak class on paper so far, so no one really jumps off the page yet. Hopkins will help your team tremendously down the stretch. I think it is worth getting him for that package.

I kind of think your RB's need more help than WR's. But if you are set on Hopkins I would go for it.

I kind of agree, but we can only start 2 RBs. We can start as many as 3 WRs. So CMC is locked in as my RB1, which leaves me with only one RB spot left. And between Michel and Coleman, I have been getting solid production. Even Dion Lewis has been solid the last two games now that he's taken over.

My WR3 spot on the other hand was a little less solid. Between John Brown and Corey Davis, there were too many up and down games, and now Watkins is banged up. Hopkins fixes that issue.

I figure Michel should be healthy by the time the fantasy playoffs hit, so that will lock down the RB2 spot.

That's kind of my feeling too. This draft is more WR heavy than the last draft. I'd be set at WR with KA, Hill, and Hopkins, plus young pieces like DJ Moore and even Gallup.

I'm pretty young at RB, especially with CMC and Michel, plus Coleman.

So the picks aren't a huge need for me I don't think.

why? the chance they'll give you someone as good as half a Hopkins are low.

A non Hopkins owner might call this an overpay, I call it a home run. A top 5 asset for 2-1sts and 2 of your bench players, no brainer.
