Cooper....what if

What if Cooper either goes off or has a decent game this Monday? Does everyone jump back on board as him being a “top young stud “ wr? Is it simply one game? Or on the other hand if he looks completely horrible is it then I’d be happy to get a bag of Brady’s deflated balls in return for him?

If I were a Cooper owner and he had a great game I would attempt to sell. There would be a chance you'd be able to max or near max value, and given that I think Dak is not a good QB and can't support a top WR, I would love to get excellent value for Cooper's perceived upside and turn it into something else.

Cooper is a very polarizing player though, and I'm not a Cooper truther, so I'd try to find someone who was.

Man cowboy fans are like mosquitos. They seem to be everywhere. Right after the trade I was floated offers by the two cowboy fans in my league and the bidding was on. I ended up trading cooper for what is today the 1.3(lowest scoring team in league with brutal stretch schedule) and Kenyan drake. Go mosquito hunting man.

I still think Cooper is talented, and I would hold. unless I got a good offer.

What would you consider a good offer?

The second he has a good game jump ship. Cooper isn't as good as everyone think's he is. He had a good year during Carr's pro bowl year and then a decent year as the WR2 on his team where crabtree was taking primary coverage from the #1 corner of opposing teams. Cooper isn't good enough to beat the top corner's in the league and you can realize that but looking at each individual games over the past 2 years and which corners covered him.

Is Dak freaking Prescott really going to save Cooper's career? HELL NO. Maybe if he went to the packers but the cowboys are nearly as bad as the raiders.

I would argue more people here do not think Cooper is good. It seems only a minority believe in Coops talent, I believe it's somewhere in the middle, if used right he could be a good wr2.

I have a list of players that under no circumstance, no matter the hype, or what they looked like in the previous game that I will never trade for/draft.

Amari Cooper sits firmly atop that list.

I’m with the majority. Keep reminding everyone that he’s available. Hold until he has a great game and trade him away.

A Cowboy fan offered me his 2019 1st which is currently the 1.01 as he sits at 1-7, the same night he was traded, needless to say i accepted. That said I am fearful the penny drops for him and starts to live up to the hype.

I’m a mosquito and I dealt him as fast as I could. I can’t handle two disappointments.

I think he’s got to be somewhere In the middle. Will he be a elite top 5 wr year in year out, no. Will he be what he has been this season, I don’t think so. Can he put up around 1000 yards and get some tds and end up between top 10-20 wr , yes, yes he can.........I hope.

This is where I'm at. I'm just hoping that he becomes Daks go-to, and is a good WR2 consistently, which is what Cooper owners want. Consistency. He has the talent to be very good in the NFL. Elite, no, probably not.

Also, I think Cooper going to the Cowboys helps Gallup and Zeke more than Cooper. Spread the field a little and feed Zeke

"consistency" and "Cooper"? good luck!
