Guice or Howard?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Guice or Howard?

Postby sk25411 » Tue Oct 09, 2018 5:37 pm

Team in sig is 1-4. Not struggling scoring, but had some pretty bleep luck so far.

Team that’s kinda competing offered me Guice for Jordan Howard.

Now, I feel like I could turn this year around and make some noise. If I get in the playoffs, I have a scary roster that no one wants to face. I feel that I have the depth to wait for Guice and still be ok.

Any input out there on who you’d rather have?

If the Bears keep moving away from Howard like have have been then it might be a good idea. I do like the RB depth on your team. Kamara, White, and even Buck could be just as good. I took a chance and traded for Guice this season and I’m 4-1. I’d say see if you could squeeze a little more out of the deal like a draft pick.

If you are competing you don’t trade Howard away. In a vacuum I prefer Guice over Howard. So if the season slips away make the trade.

You have exactly one week of stats to suggest they are "moving away from Howard". By this measure, are the Saints completely bailing on Kamara?
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

I highly doubt trading away Jordan Howard would be the difference between winning a championship or not. I’d pull the trigger on this one.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

Seems to be a major misconception that the Bears are moving away from Howard. They sure are using him incorrectly / inefficiently, but I wouldn't say they're moving away. 11 PPG is OK, nothing special. I think him and Guice will have pretty similar NFL careers.
