Collusion?

So this SF league I am in has 1 owner who is completely incompetent. He at one point owned Gurley, CMC, and Jordan Howard, owns none of them, and owns none of his future first or second rd picks. He has traded a first rd pick for Bridgewater at one point (while Brees backup). His starting lineup he rolls out is Keenum, Flacco, Royce Freeman, Josh Gordon, Shephard, Cooper, and Brate. He finished second to last place last year, and is 0-5 this season.

He just made a trade with another owner:

-He gave up James White & Tyler Boyd
-He received his 2019 first back (1.01), Lamar Miller, and OJ Howard.

Is this an even trade?

What's wrong with it? If anything it's a great deal for him and maybe now he's learned from some of his past mistakes. Either way FAR from collusion unless there are other details being left out of this post.

While he appears to have run his team into the ground (though who knows, all we have to work with are a few names), this deal is a huge win for him. White/Boyd should not net the 1.01

Of course I would. But that's not the side he's arguing for. He's saying this is so lopsided in favor of the pick side, which it clearly is, that it must be collusion.

I may just be reacting without complete rationale here, since he has made so many boneheaded trades in the past. I just find it extremely odd that he is trading away his starting RB and a WR who is finally showing some sign of life and somehow netting not only the 1.01 but OJ Howard in the process (plus Miller, who some like, some don't).

I know for a fact that the guy who just moved the projected 1.01 back to it original owner has had some phenomenal offers on the board for that pick, and passed them up. Now myself and a few league mates are puzzled by the fact he is moving that pick for White and Boyd.... It wouldn't be 100% false to say we're salty, cause we are, but with good reason -we all put good offers in, far better than the one that got accepted, so the three of us are kinda like uhhhh okay, whats going on here?

That's the point.... that pick + OJ Howard + Miller is worth far more than Boyd and White.

The struggling team finally won a trade let it go. White can win a league this year and Boyd is helping his case for AJs predecessor.

Sounds like he's finally making a trade that's in his favor. Don't see the issue here. Also, I'm assuming that he's getting his own 1st back if it's projected to be the 1.01? Seems like maybe he's finally figuring this dynasty thing out.

Sounds like you're just mad he finally made a good trade rather than continuing to be the league bargain basement, and the other owner clearly likes White + Boyd better than the other "phenomenal offers" he received so he took the deal he liked more for his team.

Yea that trade looks like a great trade to me. Think he won that one by getting his pick back and Oj on top of it
