Should I drop Moncrief for Enunwa?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Should I drop Moncrief for Enunwa?

Postby EaglesFly » Mon Sep 10, 2018 9:10 pm

After the first week, things shake out a little bit. Should I drop Moncrief for Enunwa? I have 500 coins for the season for bidding on free agents. How much should I put in for?

Enunwa looked like he had better chemistry with the rookie then Moncrief with Blortes. And Enunwa looked like a favorite target. Thoughts?

With 14 teams, the wire I have been told and looks bare for the future, barring any unforeseen injuries. So how much would you put down. 75 coins, about a fifth of my season total?

Ya I don't think you want to blow more than 100 coins on a guy like that. It's VERY early keep in mind. And while I think Enunwa will be okay, Detroit is garbage defensively and Kearse was out too.

Kearse is on the wire as well. Which of the two do you think is a better option? Enunwa getting more targets then others but a bit is encouraging when Kearse is back?

Krease, Yeldon, Enunwa, Phillip Lindsey, Mike Williams, Dorsett are all on the wire? How would you rank them?

After seeing the Moncreif I am thinking I am going to bail on him and get someone else at the end of my roster.

Well Lindsey is also intriguing, but not trustable unless Freeman gets hurt. Yeldon will come back down to earth when Fournette gets healthy, but is gold in the short term.

I'd say Enunwa over Kearse, as well as Moncrief. I wouldn't spend more than 100, I'd probably be staying closer to 50.

For this year I'd say Yeldon then Mike Williams/Dorsett. I think Yeldon will have value even if Fournette is healthy. Long term I'd say Williams then everyone else. Lindsey is interesting though, I'd roster him if I had the room.

Hmm, yeah Lindsey got my eye, not sure if I have the room if I am able to grab Enunwa, if not then I was think Lindsey. I feel the next guy to cut would be Burton. And not thinking I want to do that. I think he will be valuable as the season goes.

I think Burton is a must hold in 12 or 14 PPR, hell probably even 10. Green Bay has a knack for shutting down Tight ends randomly. He was peppered with targets in the preseason, Trubisky likes him a lot give it time.

Do not drop Burton. His snap count was much higher than the box score would indicate. He was out there and Trubisky likes him. He'll get his, don't panic on him.

Oh no, not dropping Burton! Never crossed my mind. I was just saying I feel he would be the next to go. Maybe, anyways. He isn’t going anywhere so Moncrief is the only guy I can let go right now. Everyone else is going to be held tightly. No worries there.

I wouldn’t expect 20% of your budget to land you Enunwa or Lindsay in a 14-team league. It’s worth a try, I guess, but if you actually want to land one of them, I’d bid $250 on Enunwa and $150 on Lindsay.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

WR: Nuk, Godwin, Cooper, Lockett, Flowers, Chark, Collins, Hollins, Tillman, Tolbert

Taxi: Willis, Z. White, M. Mims, T. Palmer

Hull Awaits

QB: Lawrence $5/3, Richardson $5/5, Minshew $1/0, Jones $1/0, Heinicke $1/0, Tyrod $1/0
RB: Achane $4/4, Warren $2/4, Roschon $7/5, Dillon $4/1, Hubbard $2/1, Kelley $1/0
WR: Nuk $78/1, MT $25/1, M. Williams $1/0, JSN $21/5, Reed $4/5, Rice $4/5, M. Wilson $2/5
