Punting My RB2 - Need Help

Hey everyone,

I am looking for advice on which RBs I can possibly acquire (who won’t cost an arm and a leg) to help fill my RB2 this upcoming season (12-TM, PPR).

During my start-up last season, and throughout the season and offseason, I have managed to acquire some good WRs who will fill my (3) WR spots + (1) Flex.

Instead of a traditional trade of swapping a WR for a RB, I am feeling inclined to keep my WRs, and find a few players to pair with Kamara at RB (start 2). I have some rookies / picks to help facilitate a trade here.

Some that come to mind:
LeGarrete Blount
Ty Montgomery
Tavon Austin (dual eligibility)
Latavius Murray (owner has Cook though)
Gio Bernard

Inquired, and price is too high:
Peyton Barber
Corey Clement
James White
Matt Breida

Does anyone have any cheap, filler options that can net some points this season?

I don't see anyone you listed that I'd target. You should be trying to obtain a RB whose production is at least a starter each week but whose value is low. Lamar Miller, for example. He will start all season and give you high end RB2 numbers at a minimum but so many people think he is worthless. Other good targets: Marlon Mack, Rex Burkhead, Isaiah Crowell.

Prosise or Buck Allen come to mind for the cheap that could produce some numbers.
What about Bilal Powell?

Marshawn might be a cheap rental and should get a good amount of work.

I agree with the guys above....Miller, Lynch, Crowell would be my top 3 targets and if any are on bad teams they should be wiling to part with them for picks or young players and not cost a ton
