Who you got at 1.02 now?

I had Guice as my 1.02 all summer long. Now that he's out for the year, who should i draft? Freeman? Jones?

Still Guice for me. Sucks he is out for the year but it is dynasty so would still go with the best player.

Penny for me, he was my 1.02 since the NFL draft and nothing has changed. Not sure why you would consider Jones with the wealth of new information present. Struggling to catch passes in practice, fumbling in joint practices, and 12 carries for 11 yards through 2 pre-season games. You can get Jones later than 1.02 if you really want him. I personally don't think Guice is better than Penny or Chubb, and with 2 straight years of knee problems, I don't know where I would take him at this point. He was my 1.04 pre injury, and I'm glad I don't have to make that choice now. If you are indecisive, try moving back a bit and picking up extra draft stock. Lots of good prospects, including a few good WR's.

Barkley and the rest of the field are 2 totally different things.

If your original valuation of Guice and your 2nd RB was close, you may want to choose the latter, if not, probably still Guice or trade back.

It isn't different. The OP said Guice was his 1.02 all summer which to me, says no one else was close or up for consideration. Getting hurt shouldn't change that.

Don't let my health concern you. You're point isn't as valid with the 1.02 as with Barkley, because the 1.01 and 1.o2 are not considered even close to the same value as there is a player universally accepted in his own tier at 1.01, and there isn't at 1.02. I never mentioned Penny at all, and it has nothing to do with him, but I would suggest the OP take a look at his own rankings and consider how close he had his 1.02 to 1.03, as the injury to Guice's knee for a 2nd straight year and the loss of production should be factored in to how closely he had them pre injury. Nobody had Barkley in a tier with anybody else, many people had Guice in a 2nd tier behind him, including me. If the OP did as well, he should look at his 1.03, and assess the new information accordingly.

I apologize if I came across poorly, in my first post, I've just dealt with a bit of a personal issue, and perhaps it's still lingering in my mind a bit. I accidentally submitted an unfinished post, which you first commented on, but I corrected, as it was not intended to be submitted in that state. Anyway, that is my opinion, that the 1.01 and 1.02 need to be treated differently, or at least in this case, the OP needs to look at his tiers and decide how much better he thought Guice was than his 1.03.
