I got an offer of 2019 1st and 2nd for Sammy Watkins. I believe both picks should be early, but you never really know.
I have been a Sammy truther since his freshman year at Clemson, however there are 3 other mouths to feed in KC before his turn comes up. I'm thinking about taking the offer, my one hangup is I am not sold on the 2019 class at the moment. Just looking for opinions on the deal or next years class. I have watched tape and like a couple players but dont see the top end talent.

I just took Sammy in a startup and instantly regretted it. Ha. I still want to believe but it’s a slow start. I do somewhat trust KC being as I am a homer, and I trust Andy Reid’s ability to use WRs. That said he is at best 3rd option. I think I might take the offer from a stock market perspective and know that it won’t tank and instead appreciate.
I still WANT to believe in Watkins talent but I might take the safe route. Very interested to hear more opinions on this one.

Easy accept for me. I traded my last share of Watkins for just a 2019 1st, he’s so talented but it just seems like it’s always something with him, stopping him from realizing his full potential.

Watkins is your 5th/6th wr on your roster, so to get a 1 and 2 is a easy accept to me. You instantly add flexiblity to your roster, adding people on the stretch run or more movement in the draft next season.
