N. Chubb for a 2019 1st?

I’m a bit thin at RB and trying to win this year. Just traded a bunch of picks already to grab OBJ.

I already own: Njoku, Gordon, Landry

I think I can trade Gordon to another manager for a 2020 1st and 3rd.

Take the 1.1 or 1.2. Your team looks great btw. The value on the pick will only go up whereas chubb is crap shoot especially this year (though i do like him long term) so I think you will be able to get more for that 1st (if you still want to trade it) mid season when you're making your playoff push and teams have a better idea of who is in contention.

Are you trying to buy or sell Chubb?

Chubb will be worth more by the off season than paying that price now. I'd definitely buy for that.

I like the future top pick over Chubb. Sadly, he is never going to be the same player he was pre-injury.

Wasn't Gurley's knee injury (ACL) considered worse than the damage Chubb suffered? We know how that slowed him down.

Chubb's knee injury was far, far more severe than Gurley's. TG had a clean ACL tear. Chubb tore his MCL, PCL, and LCL. There was also some talk of possible cartilage damage.

If it’s the 1.01/1.02 then I take the pick however if it’s any later then Chubb all the way

Thanks for all the help gents. I held onto the pick per the majority guidance. In the end I didn’t like what I saw out of Chubb playing NFL players and felt the top of next years draft was more enticing.

I mean the guy came back to split time, and still had over 1100 yards in both his Jr and Sr years. I'd say he is the most talented back in the Browns backfield, but I'm ok with him splitting time his first year.

I would do it for the 1.02 and would consider for the 1.01.

I'd also look to move Gordon I don't think he does too well this year with Tyrod, who doesn't like to throw deep/dangerous passes.
