Offer for 1.3

Hey this is for team in my signature. I am trying to move up in the draft (from my 1.10) and have been in discussion with the owner of 1.3. I offered 1.10, 2019 1st, and Lamar Miller. I was turned down. Also offered Watkins, 1.10, and Miller.. waiting to hear back.

Just wondering if you feel I'm making offers that are close enough to work with or not? Or am I going the other direction bordering on giving up too much? My feeling is I am pretty close but could add a little if needed to close a deal.

Another route to go is he wants Bell. But I just don't think he would be willing to add enough to make that worth it. For Bell I would need his 1.3, 2019 1st, and I still feel there would be a decent gap.

So of the top offers are they close? What direction would you go?

It depends if the 1.3 owner is in contention or rebuilding. If rebuilding Miller isn't doing any good. If he's rebuilding try adding a young unproven player with upside.

If it's a win now team then I think trade 2 will do the trick

Who are you trying to get at 1.03? Just go to the 1.04 or 1.05 owner and offer him far less? If you really want a Rb then just go to the 1.08 owner and offer him even less than that and take Kerryon...I think 1.10 +sammy is an overpay

For reference, I had the 1.10 and moved up to the 1.03. I gave Ajayi/1.10 for the 1.03/2.10.

I don't believe he will be in contention. Not sure what he thinks though. He mentioned not being too interested in Miller. He could use RB too.. so I thought give him an RB plus a couple picks toward his rebuild. Problem is I don't have too much to offer in young talent on the RB side.

Thanks for advice on the Sammy trade. Well, thing is this would be part of a two part trade. I personally agree that the value doesnt differ too greatly from 1.3 to 1.8 but the person I would make a trade with really wants a higher pick. He will not trade the player I want without a 1.2-1.4 pick. So I guess I'm after the value (or perceived value at least) of the 1.3

Who is the player your targeting? I definitely think there is a tier dropoff after pick 1.05 but I wouldn't trade Sammy(1.06 value) and 1.10 for the 1.03 which is Michel or Penny for me. Obviously if you can flip 1.03 for a higher return which makes the overpay less its worth it depending on your target.

Do you have someone you're targeting at 1.03?
In my humble opinion there is a very thin line between the 1.02 and 1.09 this year before there is a true dropoff. So it sems you're giving up a ton for just the sake of having a high pick in a draft that doesn't really merit it.

Good luck - I hope you're able to move up a few slots into that tier. 1.06 is the safest - 1.07 if someone jumps on Moore.

If your at 1.10 in a 12 tams means u r probably contending.....I would much rather have Watkins and miller on a contending team. With recent hype of Sutton, Ridley and Gallop one of the RBs like Johnson or Penny might fall to you at 1.10. Probably not but stranger things have happened....JUJu as a mid to late second last year.

After a great deal of trade conversation and two trades I was essentially able to trade up twice to get 1.1. Couldnt trade for 1.3 so went after 1.4 and used the 1.4 to move up to 1.1.
Had both trades agreed upon before moving on the first so il just list the net gain/loss.
