Mixon Kareem Trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Mixon Kareem Trade

Postby dynastyaggie » Mon Jul 23, 2018 6:37 pm

Team in Sig.
Been offered:
Kareem Hunt, Demaryius Thomas, 2019 3rd (Likely Late)
For
Joe Mixon, Jarvis Landry, 2019 2nd (Likely Early).
Our league is 13 keepers, and our yearly 7 round draft is a hybrid of rookies/players who got cut to fill out rosters (stupid setting) but it bumps the value of mid round picks big time.
Would y’all pull the trigger on this one? Feel like I need a bit more youth in my WR squad.
WHIR
12 Team Dynasty 6pt Pass TD .5 PPR 1QB 2RB 3WR 1 FLEX
QB: Patrick Mahomes.
RB: Leveon Bell, David Johnson, Latavius Murray, Adrian Peterson, Peyton Barber, Nyheim Hines, Tony Pollard, Jerick McKinnon, Chris Thompson.
WR: Michael Thomas, Adam Thielen, Cooper Kupp, Tyrell Williams, Chris Conley, Randall Cobb, Antonio Brown
TE: Mark Andrews, Eric Ebron

2020 Rookie Picks: 1.1, 1.7, 3.3

If that 2nd gets you a good player with those settings, then I'd take it.

With every passing day I feel more confident is Mixon this year and I'm actually growing concerned with Hunt's outlook this season. Has one of the most brutal RB schedules I've seen in a long time, has a rookie QB more or less, terrible defense so could have negative gamescripts. I Love hunt but it wouldn't shock me to see their values flip next offseason. I'd take Mixon and the young WR +an early 2nd

I like Landry a lot but also a big fan of DT. That's close to a lateral move while moving Hunt for Mixon is a big drop. I'd want a better piece back instead of the small pick upgrade.

On the same page as Titans95. I'm a big believer in Mixon and therefore would prob pull the trigger.

This is our inaugural season. 12 teams 13 keepers, so a player with an ADP of about 150 seems reasonable, along with rookies... I think I just talked myself out of it haha.
