Which 2 RBs should I take?

Have back 2 back picks in the late 2nd....Full PPR....Which 2 should I choose out of Melvin, CMac and Mixon?

Melvin- His floor is waaaay higher than the other 2 + he has worked on his pass-catching this off season.

CMC- Come into the league as supposedly the best pass catching back of them all. Now a second year we should only see his production improve and I see him getting more opportinuty this year with only CJA in his way who isn't a great pass catcher. He will only improve and can see him being an elite option in the next2-3 years.

Gordon is the workhorse with the chargers and I would choose Mixon over CMC. He has the upside and I think he is the more complete back

melvin for sure. mixon over cmc. they didnt sign anderson because they want cmc to carry the ball more. hes a WR who plays rb.

Gordon and Mixon... Gordon has the highest floor and ceiling. Mixon is a complete back and will be a workhorse. He can run and catch. He wont catch as many passes as CMC, but CMC wont do much in the run game imo. I prefer Mixon

McCaffrey is my top rated back of the 3. Not a fan of Gordon but it comes down to whether or not you want steady/volume or the upside of Mixon.

McCaffrey's role is only going to grow as far as I can see. I think when CJA peters out CMC will get a lot more rushing opportunities and in a full PPR league CMC will undoubtedly get far more passes thrown his way than probably Gordon and Mixon put together.

If CMC couldnt overtake JStew what suggests that CJA will peter out? If they had faith CMC could handle more as a runner they wouldnt have signed CJA imo. CJ is better than JStew. Think he sees over 200 carries and gets the red zone work. CMC is always likely to catch a ton of passes... but wont give you much as a runner.

I don't agree with any of this... JStew was left as the primary runner because he was the veteran AND their starter from previous seasons. Nothing ever suggested that McCaffrey was going to move into that role in year one. CJA wasn't signed because of lack of confidence, it's because after Stewart left, they had Artis-Payne as their #2 option. This whole thing about McCaffrey not being a good runner - it's like no one ever bothered to watch him play in college, they just like to parrot what other people say about him. I'd fully expect a season from McCaffrey that is better than what Kamara gave us last season.

I went with McCaffrey and Gordon...Traded up from 3rd and 4th to take them (at the cost of my 19 Rookie 1st and my startup 9th). So through my first 4 picks I've got MT, Keenan, CMC and Melvin....I'm feeling good about this start. Thanks for the help, gents!

Pretty closely clustered group. I agree with the consensus that Gordon should be taken. In full PPR I think CMC’s lack of between the tackles usage is overblown, he showed that without that usage that he can be an RB1. Mixon will have a better year by virtue of opportunity but I think his upside is overestimated. I’d take CMC
