Worth risking it on Dez?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

That team is going to be a dumpster fire this year with him and Witten gone. If he had stayed, he would have continued to draw top coverage every game and Dak is hardly the type of passer that can help him overcome that disadvantage. Of course, there are other crappy places he could end up which negate this effect, but realistically most situations will be better for him than that. Yes, he's not an elite WR anymore and yes, he is probably going to continue to decline. But this is a guy that will likely be a mid to high WR2 this year (depending on where he lands) and continue to be a somewhat touchdown/big play dependent WR2/WR3 for another year or two after that barring major injury. The fact that people are debating whether or not to send low 2nds and 3rds for him is dumb.

I'm not even responding to trade offers for my Dez. If you think a mid-late 2nd is "too" much for Dez I find that pretty crazy.

There's really no middle ground. I understand your view if you believe in Bryant, but I'm also not paying more than a 3rd for a guy who has been a free agent for three months and could very well drop off the cliff like Brandon Marshall did. I'd rather invest a late 2nd / early 3rd in Marshawn Lynch.

You'd rather invest in a 32 year old RB instead of 29 year old WR? Crazy to me.

I don't see that as too crazy. Dez hasn't even really been visiting anyone. It's like the whole league gave up on him. Lynch is at least on a team.

Lynch was the RB24 last year, and Bryant was the WR24. The difference is one is the lead back for his team, and the other is a FA that an NFL team has yet to sign.
