Trading Julio to a team with 5 first round picks

There's a guy in my league (12 team IDP, standard scoring) who has shown interest in Julio.

He has the 1.02, 1.06, 1.07, 1.09 and 1.11 in our upcoming draft (crazy I know), along with the WRs below:

T. Benjamin, J. Brown, A. Cooper, J. Crowder, J. Doctson, M. Jones, C. Kupp, D. Parker, M. Sanu, S. Shepard.

He offered me Doctson and 1.09 for Julio (which I think is way too low). What combination do you think I should counter with?

With that first offer I doubt he actually wants to trade. Just wants to lowball and see if you fall for rookie fever. If you want an offer him I would maybe do Cooper and 1.06. But I am sure that will be insta rejected.

I agree with Tom, I have a feeling you guys don't come to an agreement. I'd probably ask for the 1.02 and 1.06 though and see what he says.

I agree. I don't think a deal happens. As a Julio owner I'd want more than 1.02 and 1.06. I'd try to get Kupp, Jones or Shepard involved too.

Since he went really low I'll go really high and see where we end up, thanks for the advice.

You easily need the 1.2 in this deal to start a conversation, if not move on. Or he needs to put Cooper in the deal.

I've been trying to move Julio lately too, people are low on him about the TD's, the age, Ridley...Don't let them low ball you. At the end of the day he's going to have more value in season. I agree 1.02 is the starting point, Cooper +1.06 is good too, but I personally am not a fan of Cooper.

You can definitely afford to get rid of Julio with that group ha, I'm not extremely high on Cooper either but he might be better than the rookie options

The lowest I'd accept for Julio is the 1.02+1.07. Get a RB in the second Tier and an RB in Freeman or Johnson is the last of the top 8 RB's

No one is giving 1.02 + another mid 1st for Julio. Doubly true since anyone that acquires that many 1st round picks probably values them highly and is a rookie fever type of owner looking to collect assets rather than move several of them for an aging vet.

You can try offering it and see if he'll settle on just the 1.02 (which I would easily take for Julio), but I doubt he bites.

I agree with this 100%. I was toying around with moving AJ Green for any pick above 1.07. I offered him to literally every owner with the 1.1 down to the 1.6 straight up. They all told me the same thing, "I'm trying to get younger." Sadly I think we have finally hit that season where AJ/Julio are more valuable on your roster than dealing away. Especially if you are competing. I doubt you guys come to some resolution on this one. Julio is simply worth more to you than he is to anyone else right now. (For good reason, he had low TD numbers and he is "ageing") Better to not sell low on his talent these days unless you get a solid prospect in return. In this case 1.02 or 1.01 alone might be worth it....Maybe.

Would you do it for the 1.06 and 1.11?

Nope, just hang on to him, his value will be the same this time next year even though he's a year older he'll probably have astrong bounce back season and people will remember just how good he is
