Nice team, you lack talent at WR and depth at RB. I wouldn't do much at RB though. But to really contend you need better WR.

Your team looks pretty solid. As mentioned above, you could use a productive WR or 2.

I think k you just need a wr to really go after it.

But I disagree with the others regarding your rbs.

Mack, Chubb, and Powell are fine backups in a 14 team prr league .
At a minimum they slide nicely into their roles as your #3,4,5 rbs.

Your top 2 rbs are excellent.

I also think Ebron is a fine backup. I have him around 20...so that is probably better than average #2 te.

it appears that you sacrificed a WR1 to get a TE1....so if you want a WR1 you will probably have to trade Kelce
i would have waited a little longer for a QB since you grabbed an early TE

the first year, most teams will have holes..your team looks pretty solid..

It’s not bad but your WRs are very weak. I would have built around WRs and gotten RBs later.

As stated above I would try to make some trades whether that be Kelce for a WR or a RB for one

thanks for the input. I don't really agree that my WR's are weak TBH. Tate is always an underrated low end WR1 in PPR. Sanders should have a nice season with a functional QB, and DJ Moore I will be fine. Just my opinion.

Will my WR's light the world on fire? No. But they don't have to either.

With that said, yes I am definitely targeting a WR upgrade. I just think 'weak' is a bit of an overstatement is all I'm saying.

Sorry, but "weak" is an appropriate description of your WR's. If Tate is your best WR, you are not at all strong there. Sure, he can be considered under rated, but he's a borderline low end WR1 and is more likely a WR2. You have a couple of WR2's and a rookie who you should not be content relying on for this season if you are planning on contending. Rookie WR's rarely have an impact. This assumes you start 3 WRs of course. If you only start 2 and have the flex option you could use on a RB, you may get by on most weeks with Chubb or maybe Mack but even they aren't exactly proven.

Def continue to look at the upgrade possibility at WR. Maybe see how the first few weeks go and if you're doing well, consider moving a future pick with a prospect for a more proven WR?

Good luck to you!

Lol.

Listen, I know it's hard to admit your team isn't as good as you think it is, everyone always thinks their team is good enough to win the championship every year, but that's what we are here for, and what this forum is here for. The brutal honest truth. I have no bias here.

Your WR's are ATROCIOUS.

Even in a 14 team league, Tate is a WR2. He's not a WR1, even in PPR.

I love DJ Moore, but he's a rookie playing in an offense that doesn't pass that much. The Panthers rank BOTTOM 3 in pass percentage last year. And that's on top of the fact that rookie WR's rarely make a big impact their first year.

I wouldn't start Sanders as a WR3 in a 14 team league. He's more of a WR4 for me.

You will not win with this group of wide outs. You just won't. Not in a PPR league. You need a WR1, especially in a PPR setting. If you are banking on guys like Tate, Moore, and Sanders..... well.... good luck.

Also, Ebron is a bum. The Lions just cut this guy, for nothing. They couldn't even get a 7th round pick for him. Then, the best deal he could get was only a two year deal with the Colts. When a team won't even give up a 7th round pick for you, and then only signs you to two year deal, that tells me all I need to know.

On top of that, Doyle is the TE for the Colts. Ebron isn't the only guy there, let alone the main guy. He was the main guy in Detroit, with zero competition, and he was awful. You could call him a TE2 in a 14 team league, I guess, but if something happens to Kelce, I doubt you are competing with Ebron as your TE1.

Other than that, I do really like your team, I think you have a lot of potential. But in a PPR league, where you only have one WR that I would consider starting, Tate, and he's not even a WR1.... that does not bode well. You need to get a stud WR.

The need is obvious. You're pretty stacked everywhere else, especially for a 14 team league. Having Gordon, Kamara, and Chubb at RB is great, so I wouldn't worry about adding depth there like others have mentioned. QB and TE are also obviously solid, but your WRs could keep you from competing. Not really sure who you could move to upgrade there without hurting your depth at other positions.

Piling on. Your WRs won't get you a championship. I have weak WRs and Tate is my WR2/3. You (and I) need to get a true WR1, no doubt about it. I did the exact same thing you did with the RB position, and I'm glad I did, but it leaves work to be done elsewhere.

Also, not a great idea to disagree with everyone who's giving you feedback on a rating you asked for. Just saying.

With all due respect to the OP, he certainly didn't come off as rude or anything when disagreeing with the masses. I hope my post didn't come off in an argumentative way, moreso just simple advice with a nudge to really look at what others are saying compared to his opinion. I didn't get the feeling he was being disrespectful in any way so to tell him it's not a great idea to disagree with everyone's feedback is not necessarily fair. I mean, he's entitled to his opinion, even if it varies from the majority.
