Nuk for Evans and JMcK

Postby Nightmares » Wed May 16, 2018 9:46 am

Which side would you take? I was offered Evans and JMcK for my Nuk. I am strong at wr with Nuk, Adams, ARob and JuJu, but my rbs are Tevin Coleman, Crowell, Foreman and Kerryon.

If I was trading Nuk and needed Rb's I would not want that deal. Evans is just a jump ball specalists and now that Tampa how other offensive weapons to use, his production will not be what it was his first couple of years. He drops a lot of passes too.

Plus I like McK situation, but he has 4 years to prove himself in Minnesota and was only decent. I look for another partner who is deep at rb and needs wr and strike for something there that is better than McK.

It's definitively Nuk here. He's my top player in dynasty. With Evans, we're all HOPING for a rebound. With McKinnon, we're HOPING for Devonta Freeman-like production in a new situation. With Hopkins, he's been elite with and without star QBs. Hopkins is also finally paired with a promising QB and plays in a good weather division. Easily Hopkins and I'm a huge Evans fan.

Oh, and 100% Tevin Coleman to the 49ers next offseason. BOOK IT

I'm very high on McKinnon, and I think many are too down on Evans after a year where TB was in flux at RB and at QB due to Winston's injury. See if you can squeeze a 2nd or prospect on top of that, but I'd take McKinnon in return for a slight downgrade at WR.

I think it's a lot closer than people here are giving it credit for. Hop did not perform well with Brock or Savage in 2016 so I don't think he's a for certain "play no matter who's throwing to him" kind of guy. He's still my number 2 dynasty WR easily, but Evans is my number 4 easily (above guys like MT, K. Allen, etc). I would seriously consider this deal.

The gentleman who offered that sweetheart deal (me) wound up getting OBJ for the same package of Evans/McKinnon ...said owner is quite happy with the end result

The issues in Tampa and uncertainty with qb future with dingbat down there make me favor Nuk but not by much

I completely disagree. If you look back at this time last year we all would have be HOPING for a rebound from Hopkins. The perceived value swings on these guys after a down year is insane. Hopkins certainly wasn't elite in 2016 without a star QB. To me these guys are pretty interchangeable. However, Evans has been more productive in the first 4 years of his career than Hopkins was.

1st 4 years of Hopkins career: 317-4478-23
1st 4 years of Evans career: 309-4597-32

If you believe in MicKinnon I'd easily take this deal.
12 Team. Roster 22, 4 TS. PPR, TE Prem (1.75). Start 1 QB, 5 flex (2 RB Max), 1 Def, 1 K
QB P. Mahomes, J. Goff, B Zappe (TS)
RB S. Barkley, N. Chubb, R. Stevenson, T. Pollard, J. Cook, K. Herbert, A. Mattison, E. Mitchell
WR AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, C. Kupp, A. Cooper, D. Hopkins, DJ Moore, B. Aiyuk, R. Doubs, K. Boutte (TS), C. Tillman (TS), M. Wilson (TS)
TE M. Andrews
Def Patriots, Ravens

He is a “play whoever is throwing to him” for me. And he is also a play for me no matter who is covering him also.
